OT
I had a short in a bedside lamp which unfortunately had been rigged with a 13amp fused plug, instead of 5amp fuse. It caught fire and melted quite spectacularly.
I can see the analogy with kettle leads, but I'm no techie.
On Topic.
(I have a Nokia 2330, (cost £19.95), which gets the dust blown off it about twice a year when I have to make that chargeable 30 second call to stop O2 from freezing my account.)

I'm just glad the "fuse" to my house cuts out before the fuses in my plugs.

Apple are doomed, there are a dozen factories or more who can make excellent phones and don't mark the cost up 20x
