Full disclosure - I am not in this loan as it never passed my smell sense (see my post 2 years ago 'I am very surprised by this loan - brand new Ltd company, a director who has just led a previous company to a recent dis-solution, multiple loans across various P2P businesses to various related businesses.
The last thing this business needs is yet another high cost loan. I'm surprised this has been presented to us.'
Assetz customers may want to have a look at today's update (LOAN #508)

We’ve had quite a few interest and capital payments and LTV is (hopefully) very low now so I’m happy enough with this one

Assetz customers may want to have a look at today's update (LOAN #508) I didn't know that I held a loan with the same borrower at Assetz (turns out that I do, via their access account). Given that they are taking action to recover outstanding debts via action on security where we have a shared interest, I hope that ablrate are taking swift action to protect our interests.

Thou shalt have a fishy on a little dishy,
Thou shalt have a haddock when the boat comes in.
Excellent work, Ablrate

Superb job. As many of the 12%+ return platforms fall by the wayside it would appear that Ablrate are one of the few (only?) ones who have managed to get the business model right.

Well done ablrate . I logged in this morning and was surprised to see an offer at 97% (I didn't buy it, and not sure if anyone did?) with settlement due today. I understand the reasons for processing the settlement the day following the null interest/capital payments but can I suggest the loan remains paused or restricted to par trading in these circumstances? This will prevent losses/gains from prospective sellers/buyers. There are only two reasons I can fathom as to why someone would place such an offer. The first innocuous enough, because they wanted to make an alternative purchase PDQ and were unable to deposit via debit card. The second is a little more concerning, perhaps yesterdays email didn't reach them and they placed their offer in ignorance of the facts, not the sellers fault. Edit: I guess the complication is that keeping a loan paused when payments are up to date is a manual process and therefore mistakes will happen.
