I note there is an overdue tab on the UB site, but what happens when they have exhausted the recovery process?
I am in 2DFDC49CA (a collection of photographs), which has been partially repaid, but I can't see anywhere that tells you whether recovery is ongoing, or if the loan is now dead?
agent69 - according to my overdue loans page, this loan has been forborne to 21st May, when they will be offered for sale via an on line sale by Forum Auctions. I assume your overdue loans page must say the same? - anyway hope this helps - Cheers P Thanks for the info.
I am pulling out of UB and was curious which of my remaining loans I'd had the longest. I only scrolled down the list of all my loans and clicked on the link when I got to 2DFDC49CA. The loan detail page doesn't appear to give the current status but, as you say, the overdue loan tab provides current details.
I've just gone past the stage where withdrawls are greater than deposits, so I guess I must be winning.

agent69 - equally curious why you are exiting UB, if you do not mind explaining reasons? - Cheers P

Got an email today to say they are putting 19 of my pawned items up for sale. All to be sold on the 22 march. No messing about there. All to be sold by private treaty. Have they got a jewelers always lined up in advance for the defaulted loans?

The 19 items may not relate to 19 loans, they send out an email per asset. Just had a look at my own overdues and note that 2DFDC52A4 is to be disposed on 22 March.... but I don't fancy their chances of recovery on the "jewellery containing None carat diamond" (my bold)

What do you reckon to this:
"The borrower on this loan has started legal proceedings against Unbolted, alleging technical legal breaches about loans arranged for him. We deny those allegations and believe we are fully compliant. In order to save time and cost we have agreed with the borrower that, for now, we will suspend enforcement proceedings against his defaulted loans (interest will continue to run) whilst the matter is resolved with him. Repayment of the loans will be completed on resolution of the dispute."
This is against 4 of my loans. The debtor has had about 6 defaults and has about 12 active loans. Not exact as when I go to other tab and come back everything I have typed disappears. Either way I am a touch worried.

Ouch!

I wonder what the "technical legal obligation's" are? Sounds to me like he doesn't like paying his debts. Unbolted need to sort this, as in go to court, so that nobody else trys it on??

I've just checked my account.
Over 9 months, I have a total 187 loans past Loan End Date, here are my stats:
155 loans repaid - 82% 23 loans overdue ("active") - 12.3% 9 loans default (including loans recovered)- 4.81% 4 loans resolved / recovered - 2.67%
XIRR is 7.97%, capital loss = 0

I've had 52 repayments, 14 paid late 25 paid early 13 paid on the dot. XIRR is 8.47% I have 4 loans overdue currently, 3 of which are part of that legal stuff mentioned above, all my other loans which have gone overdue were paid at some point.

Unsure on the legalities of the borrowers claim but wouldn't we expect the provision fund to apply in this case?
