So, is there a chap that the guy is getting the money from to pay the bloke? Ah, thats the question. Given past history I suspect it may well turn out to be chaps & chapesses. Probably a fairly good chance that we will be the chaps lending to the guy to pay the bloke to repay us so that the guy can sell to some geezers in order to reimburse us chaps.

Okay, so theoretically we could end up giving a bridging loan to the guy of some 5 million to buy 140 flats, which on completion repays us via the borrower. Meanwhile where are the geezers getting their 6 million from to buy out the guy so he can repay the chaps? Its chaps again, isn't it? So how much will the VR report be for geezers loan, about £80,000. Bloke is getting shafted by the looks of it (or maybe its somebody else)

Is there a reason why there is no valuation report here? I'd be interested to know what the service charge is on these things, it seems that there are other developments near here where you can pick up a pod really cheaply but have to pay a faintly ridiculous service charge.

Given the nature of the loan, the asset value has to be what the developer is paying the borrower. If this is not £59,950 then the value given is misleading. Collateral has had several opportunities to confirm this, they have elected not to. The conclusion would have to be that they don't think we would like the answer.

Collateral Rep / collateralCan you please clarify the situation with this one please, as per mine and mrclondon observations above. Still no data at the LR and questions surrounding the story that I just can't get my head around Isn't this already alarming? Normally Collateral is quick to answer questions.
