Hi IFISAcava Transfers in will be live on Wednesday (13th June). Hugo Quick question Hugo - will Archover charge any transfer in or transfer out charges for ISA transfers? (hoping the answer is no to both).

Hi IFISAcavaArchOver will not be charging any fees. Currently in the T&Cs a fee of £35 is detailed for transfers out. This is being removed this week.

Hi IFISAcava , Small delay with the deploy - there is a chance it will be live tomorrow - as a rule we never do a tech deploy on a Friday - so it is looking most likely to be Monday 18th. We will be emailing all investors with how it works when it is live

hugoarchover Why does it take so long for a transfer in? The money left my previous ISA account 12 days ago. No sign of it my Archover account and emails unanswered.

I'm afraid this has happened to me as well with a previous Archover transfer in, and a current one seems to be taking longer than usual too. I know they outsource it - might be better to bring it in house?

The full transfer in process can take up to 60 days - a lot of existing ISA managers will close the existing ISA on a particular date and the payment to ArchOver will not be processed immediately. If the payment is sent via BACS from the ISA manager then we usually receive the funds within 3 working days and are able to make this visible to the Lender as long as we have received all corresponding paperwork that is necessary to complete the ISA transfer. We do experience a delay between receipt of payment and receipt of paperwork. Some ISA managers still send funds via cheque and this can extend the process by 7-10 working days.

It's extended it by 12 days so far with us - received an email from Archover that the cheque had been received on 2nd Nov, now it's 14th Nov and no sign of the deposit. That seems an inordinately long time to process and clear a cheque. And does it really take 7-10 working days to deposit and clear a cheque? Was much quicker when I used to use them.

Has anyone tried to transfer out, do not like the interest stuck doing nothing Not yet. But I am sticking the interest into the Auto-invest, which you can do when it gets to £250. Also, it's flexible so can take out and then put back in when it reaches an investable minimum.

Old post but age is just a number.
Is the Archover IFISA actually flexible in the legal sense or is this just AO misleading consumers ? Nothing else suggests it is flexible. 4thway has it down as not flexible ?

Thank you. Flexible is such a common word to use to describe such an important feature of an ISA and I've seen this exploited by other providers. I couldn't find any corroborating documentation on your website just to confirm it was a flexible ISA in HMRC's eyes. 4thway also has it listed as not flexible which didn't help.
