Seems like we have a unseen hand at FS. Perhaps the new Director has something to do with it.

But by then it would be a bad idea to buy!

Don’t worry buy it on SM at bargain price in a couple of days Why would it be at bargain in the next few days? Usually it's a month or 2 before expiry so that they unload the default risk. But by then it would be a bad idea to buy! I frequently buy parts where the seller is offering more than the accrued interest to buy. That's where I make all my nice dosh selling it on at slightly lower but still a bargain price. 6029565086 is currently selling offering about 50% off accrued intrest with 180 days to go.
Whitworth up at 0% it will soon be in -% group. Buying just before expiry is always worth a small punt (0.1% of portfolio) as usually over 20% Last one to payback I had made 25.6% APR because it paid back early.
If bought at the begining and held and it had say £50 interest that would be what you risked. If you bought the same part with interest and 1% discount you would only be risking the same amount -1% of the capital component. and you would have had 5 months to make money with the capital you didn't invest at the start. it should make 0.5-about 3% on capital if you play your cards right,

Before P2P, savers put a guinea in a piggy bank, now they smash the banks to become guinea pigs.

Someone already trying to sell £3k at 1% premium.

Have had a quick look at the directors' history - can't find much evidence of "loadsa"money which does not mean there isn't any...I can only hope planning is approved because, if not, this one is not going to be pretty. Even if planning is approved I can see this one being very close - the land is very uneven as in 5 metres! Also it has a river flowing through it... I just can't see how these loans are going to be repaid in time - the earlier ones are already late. If this one is wrapped up in 12 months than that is £915K x say 20% = £180K in interest alone.
Another interesting one.

Bought on PM and just sold mine at a premium. (Update "We have been advised by the Borrowers, that the security will be listed for sale shortly.") In the unlikely event the loan is payed off early then I guess paying a premium would mean the buyer could make a loss. Not sure all buyers are fully aware of the risks of paying a premium.
