To further available scientific data I just checked my load times again. On Chrome the SM page loads in about 30 seconds and column sort renders in 9-10 seconds. When previously timed I had a lot of tabs open and I have also since cleared cookies and history so maybe this explains the long lag I was experiencing 2 days ago. Firefox updated to version 57 this morning and SM took 19 seconds to load a few minutes ago but columns sort still lags 28-29 seconds.

Part of the problem may be that ablrate seems to open almost every page as a new tab in FFox (which involves more setup than just loading over the current tab) .. would be nice if it stopped doing that, since after a 10 minute session buying, selling, or just looking, I have to stop and clear out 20 or so redundant tabs (many of which are confused about whether I'm in my ISA account or not). But yes, the SM tab(s) in particular are very slow to load, slower to sort, and sometime glacially slow to act if you buy or sell. And we still need a button for 'buy/sell/offer/bid as much as I can afford' ('No, you can't afford £15.00', (if you go look, you only have £14.99)) and 'list for as long as possible' (instead of 'not possible to list until 30/Nov because this amortising loan reduces on 26th Nov, so your £30 listed won't be available then .. nope, not even if you have another £60k waiting in the wings).

Yup - SM slow to load, hesitant to sort in Edge; positively glacial in Safari

It's taking my fairly new laptop about 10 seconds to go to the SM page and 15-20 seconds to sort the columns. I've only noticed it in the past 4 days.

7 seconds to load SM. 13 seconds to sort the bid column. Has been very slow for a while. (IE on a Windows 10 PC. 16Meg broadband.)

Retest this morning at c10:25:
Initial load SM page: 4s Re-sort on columns: 8s
Environment: Firefox v31.8 Extended Support using 10mb/s ADSL+ broadband over copper. All tests run with no competing applications on the PC or broadband traffic.
Note: I run Noscript to block javascript code but with ablrate.com allowed as an exception. Rerunning the tests with no javascript restrictions gave the same results.

We have kicked the pipes and WD40'd the server to solve the speed issue... ... let us know if that has fixed it.

ablrate .. far from being fixed the SM is currently (at least for me) completely broken, I get a 'there was an error' every time I hit 'trade'. (report turned in via the website as well). This is Ffox on Win7, but it was working earlier today, so it must be something you changed, unless my browser has sprung a leak.

Indeed the secondary market is much, much better. So now you can turn your attention to the notifications section, I am measuring the performance there with a calender.
