How are defaults and recoveries now? The statistics page says last updated June 2018! Seems very quiet on here is that because everyone is happy? happy? - Back in the summer i had 3 loans in recovery and about 8 late/overdue now its 2 recovery & 2 late and gone from about mid 80% in available funds to withdraw to about 95% so moving in the right direction but fingers crossed for no new problems (also know someone at near 99%)

We are planning for this page to be updated in the next week or so, and I can give everyone a nudge on here when that is the case. We do of course plan to make the statistics page live, too, in the not too distant future.

Seems very quiet on here is that because everyone is happy? Getting happier, but not really happy. My problem is that diversification looks good, but can be poor. I am in over 100 loans, but 12 of them account for 38% of my portfolio. Unfortunately for me one particularly large loan of mine is one of those in collection. Having said other smaller loans have been resolved so I am optimistic. As I stated above I sold everything and then made smaller deposits to achieve even this level of diversification. I intend to increase from here, but the money I withdrew found other homes quite quickly.

It seems that there is less information available now then previously but the website is so confusing it's hard to find any relevant information. I second this as it seems that OUR LOAN BOOK on the Statistics page is excluding loans in default. octopusjoe can you reveal the % of loans (by both value and number) that are 1. late and 2. in collection at the moment?

The statistics on the home page before logging in show 2 loans in default but that's in June. But at the bottom of the page click on the blog tab and read the article "Octopus view of the property market" and within that are the details on their defaults, late etc up to end of October (tried linking but gave up as beyond me) But a clearer place to find would be good

It is strange that the statistics page gets better when I log out! Even then the loan I have in collection seems to be missing from the downloadable CSV of all loans.

Hi macq, bigfoot12 and keystone. Apologies for my late reply, I have been out of the office (if ever you did have an urgent query, please do contact the rest of the team at support@octopuschoice.com). As you spotted, the stats page on the logged-out part of the site is much more complex. This is because we wanted to make sure it was available to everyone, even those without an Octopus Choice account. It will be made more accessible for logged in users, soon, too! We have a new version of the statistics page for November ready to release very soon as well. Sorry this got slightly delayed!
