BTC now around $3500. Reality dawning? I think we are still far away from reality which is probably somewhere in single digits. So at least another $3,490 to go ... and people I know who are VERY VERY smart (Bank CEO, no less) thought we would see $100k. Not sure if that was a guesstimate as to how dumb markets can be, or a belief in its core value, but probably the former. Anyway I think we will see it go much higher as the price is largely controlled by a small group of big holders. When they want it to rise again, it will rise although zero chance of anything close to last year's highs. Best avoided in my opinion.

BTC now around $3500. Reality dawning? Reality dawned on almost all the world's population a long time ago. The only ones left in are: the charlatans who think they might get another chance to hoodwink enough suckers to pump up another spike; and the suckers. The surprising thing is how long it's taking for the price of something with no value to drop to zero.

I'll wipe the egg off with the profit I made from BTC about a year ago!
At no time have I ever thought it was remotely "worth" these prices, but the mass hysteria over crypto back then seemed to still have some way to run, so I made a reasoned decision: bought at $2,450 (ahh, too late!); sold before the peak at $9,200 (ahh, too early!).
I know what they say about short memories and people never learning from market bubbles, but the events of late 2017 and early 2018 were played out so globally and so prominently that it should be a good few years -- if ever -- before people forget it.
I accept that while BTC exists (i.e., it doesn't enter a death spiral) its price will never quite go to zero. At the very least there will be novelty buyers. Hell, even I would buy a few if it went under $10 ...

Don't think you'll ever see that $10 price
