I have to admit to being impressed, I had a feeling it would just wander into the proposed repayment. Not made me a lot richer I only have a small holding. Not tempted enough to add funds, but if I had some sitting idle on the platform I think at 98% its got to be tempting.

I hope the update proves to be true, but previous similar updates have not proved to be accurate.
That written, what's the saying about their being a exception to every rule!

I've had a companies house alert today "Satisfaction of charge in full". Looking promising.

I've had a companies house alert today "Satisfaction of charge in full". Looking promising. Not the Moneything charge, the rather curious additional charge. However it does suggest movement is likely.

interest payment just made Interesting. The refinance may not complete today then as i would have thought the solicitor would have paid interest and capital all together. Anyhow, good new interest was paid - hopefully we should get an update from MT later as the loan end date is currently set to tomorrow and MT told us two weeks ago the refinance is expected to compete within two weeks.

Yet another loan on the 'never never'. End date pushed back a week for the umpteenth time.
Can't believe that a reputable lender like Aldermore would keep fibbing about a refinance so what is the truth? Is MT in contact or just being fed some borrower BS?

I have got to the point where I just don't believe end dates especially those set for a Saturday. Even if MT work all hours, no solicitors, bankers etc are going to release funds on a weekend.

LW I think it's more of a "turn of midnight" thing. So that setting it to expire as it turns to Saturday allows for the full working day on Friday for the theoretical/hypothetical/mythical completion. (Delete as applicable)
