Hi everybody,
As 2017 is coming to an end I thought it might be interesting to share some results with each other regarding the different p2p platforms.
Personally my best performing platforms at the moment are: Grupeer Robo.Cash Mintos Twino
in that order
and my worst performing platforms (read negative performance) are: Bondora Omaraha (due to slovakian loans defaulting)
I'm curious to how your year has been and if your results are similar.
Cheers.

Good performers: Grupeer Viainvest robo.cash
Good performers with caveats estateguru (but a bit of a faff with manual investing/money tied up for a while) Investly (some signs of drag and some concerns with
OK performers/some worries Twino (drag + dropping rates + system doesn't seem to invst when oans available). Drawing down but maintaining some investment. viventor (big drag (I stopped investing in spanish loans as they were over 50% defaulting). Winding out of this one Mintos - only due to the Eurocent thing, I'm still in the toilet even with decent returns - this would be in the top section if they dealt with this (or even if they made a clear statement of what changes they'd made) Drew down about 25% and holding but considering exiting. Iuvo group - big faff to invest, autoinvest doesn't seem to work or is finicky, exiting. Flender - good interface but long loan times and difficult to diversify based on their model. subpar returns and mostly 3-4 year loans around 10%. Likely to exit.
Avoid Bitbond - I might recover my original €2,000 but only due to last €100 of bitcoin going 10x up so much that it's recovering all my losses...

Good performers:
Mintos (still the best for me for variability of choice and return obtained) Grupeer (a big surprise, hope they will can continue with this way) FinBee (small market but very low defaults and a relative good return)
Good performers with caveats: Swaper (great returns even if there's some lack in comunications) Robo.cash (great returns but a lot of late loans and still have some doubt about their possibility to go on with that structure)
Some worries: Twino (fallen interests during all the year and no signals of recovering) Lenndy (it's still a very small market and I'm a bit worried about their resources)
Avoid: Omarah (my worst investment due also to my childlike trust in slovakian loans)

It's been picking up and I believe it's here to stay. I'm also very curious towards ViaInvest & Investly. I was considering of adding them to my portfolio. I'm annoyed by the fact that ViaInvest is so annoying to sign up with. They automatically withhold tax unless you provide the required documents. That's the only thing holding me back so far. It's good to see that everybody has Grupeer and Robo.Cash in their portfolio. They are performing really well for me. Luckily for me, I missed the Eurocent crash. So I'm all good with Mintos. I'm still testing EstateGuru & Swaper. I'm not fully convinced with either. Though I'd prefer EstateGuru over Swaper atm. Crowdestate is decent so far, but they rarely post new investment opportunities.

Agreed that cryptocurrency is here to stay - but bitbond is a bad, bad company. They respond to <1/4 of support requests, their loan recovery is awful, and they aren't really 'using' CC except as a medium of exchange. I would have lost €1500 but the rise/bubble of BC has meant that I'm on track to 'only' lose <€500. My only thought about cryptocurrencies in general is that it's completely wild west. There are some interesting use cases - Telegram (secure messaging) launching their own app, essentially becoming a currency independent WeChat - that are interesting. I suppose if you want to play/invest you're better off finding the picks & shovels than picking your own currency... I was actually heartened with ViaInvest and Investly - they *should* withhold tax without correct documentation as that's the way the law(s) work where they're regulated. I've found them all to be above board, though Investly's € drag and oversubscription of lenders isn't great. Would really like them to expand to other € countries as Latvia isn't that big of a market

That's true if you aren't from the Netherlands, where investments are just taxed based on your overall net worth. So personally I prefer all the other platforms where I don't need to request tax documents from the government. I mean obviously I could, but it's just a hassle for trying out a platform that's similar to Mintos.

For the Netherlands it only takes 1-2 min to request the certificates. Just send an email to woonplaatsverklaring@belastingdienst.nl with your name, BSN, address, relevant year and countries (Latvia, Spain, etc) you want the certificate for. ( Source)

Good performers 2017/2018:
Grupeer
Mintos Robo.cash
2017/2018 Im leaving from... Omaraha (high defaults in major part of investeds, 1.0 web, dark and strange back company (******* money maybe) Investly (unfair managing with investors. Absolutely avoid) Bitbond (chaotic web, worst contact agents and high defaults)

Mintos mainly due to buyback loans and my low exposure to eurocents
