Did you not get the email yesterday?........ I did indeed. I was hypothesising the new loans were the reason for the large amount of this loan becoming available.

That's two in a row at 8pm. If this turns out to be the norm the only loans I'll be able to invest in will be the ones nobody else wants. It's a shame as I realy like Ablrate but I aint getting up at 3am, maybe have to look elsewhere for an IFISA.

perhaps ablrate will implement the frequently promised bid limits? Yes, I would love to see minimum bid limits introduced to make the platform more profitable so we can get higher interest paid to lenders, good idea. ablrate how about minimum bid limits to reduce overheads for the platform, say a minimum of 0.5% of loan amount? ptr120 bid limits have not been frequently promised, they have specifically said they do not wish to impose bid limits.

Hi all
As the last one went quick, we will have a bid limit on this one until the following morning.

I released capital from other loans for this one as no bid limits were mentioned in the email.

Hi all As the last one went quick, we will have a bid limit on this one until the following morning. I would prefer not to interfere with lenders' plans to bid, but this seems a wise and pragmatic decision, just this once perhaps.
So now we need to know what the bid limit will be or when you will tell us what it will be. Not 8pm I hope.

not a complaint but with the sum involved and the connected loans it would have been interesting to see how quick it went

Hi all As the last one went quick, we will have a bid limit on this one until the following morning. ablrate, what amount will the bid limit be, please? It would have been useful to know that there would be a bid limit (and its amount) when the loan was announced, so as muttley916 said investors don't sell too many other loans to raise funds, only to find they're limited in how much they can invest. Please in future would you be able to announce the bid limit (or state there isn't one) when you announce a loan - put the bid limit info in the loan announcement e-mail please?

We usually would, but after conversations this morning we thought it would be prudent to have bid limits. It is £2,000 per account so there is plenty of headroom.. Damned of you do damned if you don't.... lol...

There are always going to be sections of the investor base that like/don't the scheduled timing or the limit/or not & they can never be reconciled - HOWEVER what can be certain is good, clear, timely & definitive COMMUNICATION which is very firmly within your area of competence. All most investors want & would satisfy the vast majority is to be told what is being offered, when & how much they can invest, then given enough time to study it - REALLY HOW HARD CAN THIS BE?
I really like the platforms approach to most issues but recent launches have been a bit shambolic to say the least; please take the time to get your proposition in order before informing your eager & supportive lender base - Thanks.
