This isn't intended to find the best platform per se, more the one which has developed themselves the most in 2017. They could have been bad and have gone to average or average and gone to great. If they were one of the best at the start of the year, they would have to be spectacular to win this, but the choice is yours... Please note due to limits on the number of options, the EU options didn't fit. Sorry. This is one of a series of polls set up to cover the events of 2017. Each is open until the 3rd of March. For more details see here.

A strange one for me.
They already offered a diverse range of loans (if not always borrowers), very good loan launch information and excellent communications.
However, 2018 does seem to offer significant improvements - new UI, new portfolio loans, a proposed api for loan updates (possibly credit ratings?).
For 2017 they were already excelent for me, standards maintained* and my platform of the year.
* For completeness, there were questions raised around whether all APF charges were in place so may be we did see positive improvements during the yeat once these were verified and procedures improved to avoid in future.

Are they verified? My queries remain unanswered some 6 months on despite promises of a response when DBW had chance to review after his holiday. One reason ABL didn't get my vote.

Hmmm. Judging from recent events and “crowd think” this poll might indicate it is time to leave the winning platform. One of the major improvements was the full FCA approval and the IFISA offer - before FC could manage it. Another, affecting sustainability, was a switch towards monthly fees from the borrowers, though we might debate the level. A third, for me, was a robust response to the problems with an over-large (imo) borrower, as elliottm indicates. "Crowd think" does not apply. The level of engagement, disclosure (mostly), and scrutiny on the board is quite intense.

Because a platform called Collateral was, until very recently, very popular with members of this forum.

Well, you can't get much more solid than being closed down by the FCA.

I suppose it depend on whether you are with a herd of elephants or a herd of lemmings. Chameleons are solitary creatures.
