I've just entered my stats. I've included Seedrs, which is P2P by any other name but almost totally illiquid. However, a couple of my companies are doing very well when I look at the Secondary Market so I'll sell those next year after 3 years' holding, when I won't have to pay back the tax relief. I'm at 17% P2P but am drawing down the Investing side of Zopa so that eventually I'll be totally in the ISA and my total P2P holding will have gone down to nearer 12% by 2020.

It is equity crowdfunding. I would class it as alternative asset and seperate from P2P.

Thanks for clarifying that - I mentioned it in my post half expecting to be challenged as I wasn't 100% sure that it would be accepted. (My vote is still valid however, as I'm at a total of 13% in RS and Zopa combined). I was trying to be logical - I'm lending money to individuals to start up companies in Seedrs (rather than to buy a motorbike in Zopa) so would you agree that it's a sort of hybrid P2P? I was going to suggest a Crowdfunding board on this forum but I suppose that wouldn't really be appropriate in view of what you say.

I wouldn't consider Seedrs to be P2P at all and would include it as a completely separate asset class. Same for syndicate room/crowdcube etc. These are EIS eligible equity investments are a completely different risk profile to P2P (much higher, most of the investments will go bust and lose all your money apart from tax relief).
I included property crowdfunding as property.

Down to less than 20% now - it was over 50% at one stage.
One by one all of the P2P's have gone bad for me and now I only rate LendInvest and Unbolted as decent.
Worst for me have been Funding Secure (poor recoveries) and Bondora (my account has been losing value for several months now).
I still use Zopa but that has bad rates and I'm kind of suspicious about what RateSetter uses our money for.

It would be good to know if the people who are heavily in to this are making it swing and that's why they're in or if it's an interesting punt with the £500 sales bonus.

Realised I hadn't answered your question. Into P2P like the poll asks. Are the people who invest 90-100% doing so with £100k and turning it into £200k or turning £500 into £450.

If I only had £500 I'd be in Welendus. £2500-£10000 then Fundingsecure Buy low LTV loans and sell before the end 1% max in any loan.
Both of these should give minimum 10%-15% Tax free return

It's nice to think you are helping others with you investments . If that's your intention then Put some money here.
Since most want to make some personal money invest with highest profit minimum risk.
Invest and forget 5-15% Welendus (FISA)
Invest and work at it Fundingsecure 8-24% (FISA)
As these are tax free if you make more than your £1000 intrest allowance
most other P2P make it difficult to avoid Tax and have far lower returns with increased risks.
