Looking at the photograph I don't particularly like the spacing used between C**** and and and and and A***** But, otherwise, it is good to see a property so well presented - from the photos. Money seems to have been spent on it. I might even consider even buying a sorbet there myself, if I were close. The sorbet might be valued at £5 to £10.

This is taking a while to draw down. We know that the manager and chef departed a short while ago to set up elsewhere. I guess that their replacements, if in place, are not yet up to speed. The website is still giving the xmas opening hours on the homepage. And more worryingly, in another panel: 'Book your wedding or celebration for 2017 now!'

Just drawn down. That's good. Perhaps a free ice-cream for every visiting lender in 2017?

That was me. Using recently acquired terminology..... I 'shorted' 80, the price dropped so I 'longed' 80 again. Oddly then the process repeated, so I ended up 'Longed' on 80. Logically then I needed to support 98 to get back to 'medium-ed'. Having already committed my spare funds to 99, I needed to liquidate and reinvest this in 98. I may have invented terminology to fill in gaps. Somehow it all makes sense to me. Hopefully 98 now makes the finish line.

Are you sure 80 wont default shortly after 98 fails to fill?

Are you sure 80 wont default shortly after 98 fails to fill? I'm confident my last post will confuse people so much, they will assume it is 'dark art' investing and rush to invest.

Are you sure 80 wont default shortly after 98 fails to fill? 80 cannot default in the near future because all the interest payable to December is held by Ablrate.

Plymouth2 on MT defaulted with prepaid interest. They then sought legal advice as to pay that interest when it fell due or add to the final recovery amount. Several car loans defaulted on Coll with prepaid interest. Interest was paid out monthly and the directors repaid capital at term. Ly have suspended loans with prepaid interest. Ly however stick to their idiosyncratic Tolerance Period and even after calling in receivers won't call it a spade until 180D overdue.

I did say the near future. The risk to 80 is that 98 does not fill and the current third party lenders default that phase before the development finance can be arranged (would they really?). Ablrate knows that 98 is a tough ask and will not have just floated it expecting to wave goodbye to 80 if 98 does not fill. Having said that I am out of 80 and well into 98, because I have far too much cash in this project to take any risk. If 98 flies it becomes an ISA plus here, if not the cash becomes an ISA elsewhere. BTW these two loans have been carefully structured as two separate, independent loans - they are not tranches with common security. That gives Ablrate further options. Have faith.

ablrate In June the late payment was blamed on an incorrect date on a standing order, what is the excuse for the October late payment?

Paid 99 on Sunday instead of Saturday? That's unlikely to be the borrower.

Team Ablrate need a bit of downtime now and then. To be honest I'd be quite happy if weekend/BH payments were made on the next working day.
