Of course some will find the table above far less exciting fare than it’s erstwhile counterpart which pointed to a google doc resplendent with links to Lendy threads in a secret private forum and lots of information identifying Lendy’s borrowers  In Edit: For the avoidance of all doubt the post in question was, according to the security logs, removed by the OP not by any action of forum staff. |

Pre-emptive just for the record as its referenced in the toys thread.
I havent take my rubbish toy away but unfortunately havent had time to keep it updated due to work and the fact that it got too big for the forums character allowance so needs major overhaul. Good news is Ive now got time to fix it (not as pretty as the chilly one version).

Thread renamed, and I was wondering how much the Loan Book was worth, and interested in the number of investors in the remaining loans, so here's a table below taken off the website on 24/05/19. The days remaining are still climbing on the website, but pretty meaningless probably as getting capital back will be great but accrued interest and bonus interest payments might be away with the pigs. Total remaining Capital owed to Investors - £162,241,479 on a reputed valuation (for what it's worth) of £347,904,984. Perhaps not surprisingly, roughly following loan size, the greatest number of investors held a part of the largest loan DFL019 - at 5284 investors; and the fewest number were in one of the smallest PBL037 - at 447 investors.

If a creditors committee is ever formed presumably an investor or group of investors will require £16.22 million (10% of outstanding loans) to be eligible for a place on it.
The Creditors Committee includes wuzimu and Monetus on this forum as well as three other members who's P2PIF status is unknown.

If all investors are classified as creditors of Lendy by the administrators then you're correct - the requirement will likely be very significant for a place at the table. However having spoken with someone from another forum with far more savviness in insolvency than me, it will be interesting to see how a creditor of Lendy will actually be defined and who will actually get a vote if/when a Committee is established. We may find ourselves in a situation where the only creditors of Lendy may be those in "old term" loans or other creditors of the business who were owed funds from them directly. It could be that anyone in "new term" loans may not be considered creditors of Lendy itself as a business - instead you were just authorising Lendy to act as your agent, manage your loans and enforce your security. Complex times indeed.

The investors might be owed £162,241,479, but by the time the administrators have taken their cut, and Lendy have taken the significant amount of interest owed to them from whatever is recovered from these vastly over valued loans, there's going to be nowhere near that left for the investors. It would be interesting to know how much interest Lendy are going to claw back from loans that are up to 3 years over due, but no doubt it will be many millions. Disgraceful that this will be paid out before we get a penny regardless of what the T&C might say. Delaying administration of defaulters just might have been part of their game plan, Mortgaging the provision fund is just insult to injury. Worse still it looks as if it just could all be legitimate.

i think there has been professional negligence on the part of LB/LENDY and will be asking the administrator to also look at this.i have been reading a lot on professional negligence claims on CEOs and companies and it looks to me like LB/LENDY could fit the bill as well as another p2p platform that leaves loans for 2/3 years before defaulting.google it and you will see what i am going on about.

That probably depends on how you define SSSH which holds the assets. IIRC it wasn't set up as a Trust but is described as a Trustee. I don't know but elsewhere a former IP has equated the two.
