You can buy the other, earlier, loan at 99.9 now.
Think I'll buy that instead of this new one.

There's an update for this loan which announces that the offer will end a week early, tomorrow, about £70-80,000 short of the maximum requested.
Now, this could be either:
a) a good thing - the borrower is keen to get started and a smaller loan improves the LTV%
or
b) a bad thing - the borrower is short of working capital and is desperate to get his hands on our money as soon as possible!

Agreed. And only £60K short of max requested at the mo (but £560K over the minimum requested)

So Ablrate didn't close the loan early as announced in their email last Thursday but let it run until the loan filled this afternoon. Was this a tactic to generate funds faster? It seems they know how to manage their customers.....

Every available penny was squeezed out there, to save the borrower's equity. I suppose I will have to settle for all those lovely 'instant returns' - 76 days' worth and counting. Must be over £20k for the whole loan, and rising by £560 per day.
