I did have a look at this a few weeks ago, - effectively 1.25% pa or £75 interest if you save the full amount each month for the full year. Also for one year only. ok for absolute safety but below the inflation rate, although CBS claim it is inflation busting - a bit naughty! Still, one of the best out there? Cheers P

Cheers P ONS shows CPI year to Oct 2019 as 1.5%, so 2.5% is inflation busting and you do get 2.5% on the money held by CBS, it's just you can't deposit the whole £6K in on day 1. Money waiting to be put into CBS can be held elsewhere in interest paying accounts.

Prefer the coventry bs one at 2.5% and at £500 per month. I've just had a letter from Cov BS - the fixed-rate ISA I have with them is coming to an end. I can reinvest at the sparkling rate of... 0.6% 12mo, 0.7% 24mo, or 0.85% 36mo. How can I resist?

Just had a letter from NS & I saying my fixed term bond matures in December. Only difference is they aren't offering the juicy rates that you mentioned.
