What are people's experiences of the platform so far? Would they recommend it?
Also, if I sign up what do I put in the "Amount to invest" box if I don't know how much I plan to put into the platform? Or is my total investment pot that I could move if I really loved it that much?

Thanks for your interest in the platform.
I'm more than happy to chat through the signup process with you. Just call the office and ask to be put through to me.
In the first instance though if you do apply, put the figure you would potentially be looking to transfer day 1 in the 'amount to invest' field. Once the account is setup you can then advise of any changes/updates to your investment as you proceed.
After you have registered as a lender and have logged in to the portal you will get a better feel for how things work and we are always here to support you.
Kind regards
Mike

Thanks Mike. Any other folk not connected to the platform care to share their view?

I suggest you put in £100 or so to get the feel of the water for a couple of months. Minimum investment is £10 per loan so set that as your bid limit. Uninvested cash earns 1.2% which helps. Loans are few and far between. There were some development loans a little while ago at 6% or thereabouts but I think the uptake demonstrated that the enthusiasm of the lenders was not overwhelming.
I was with emoneyunion for years before the name change to justus, and the deal flow seems similar.
I opened an ISA when it started at the end of last year (November ish), and transferred in £10,000. I now have nearly 8.5K invested. Happily it is flexible so I only keep a few hundred available for new loans.
Deposits & withdrawals are usually next working day.

The website appears to be quite professional and some of the potential deals look quite interesting, I'm mainly interested in the Guarantor loans at the moment.
Availability of loans appears to be the main stumbling block to diversified investing at the moment. From the downloadable loan book, and for the avoidance of 'approximate mis-communication';
Loans over the last 12 months;
Guarantor: 12 loans = 1 per 4.33 weeks. Current pipeline = 0.
Property: 6 loans = 1 per 8.6 weeks. Current pipeline = 0.
Unsecured: 15 loans (2 non-performing) = 1 per 3.5 weeks. Current pipeline = 0.
Justus have stated they plan to increase deal flow over the coming months so it will be worth watching to see if deals start to materialise.

Look them up on Companies House. But under the name of eMoneyHub not Justus (this dissolved company is something different)

Well despite their "plan to increase deal flow over the coming months" stated last July, we do not seem to have had any loans made available lately.

I'm getting the distinct impression that this platform is a waste of my time. Any comments @justusmike?

Can anyone remember the last time there was a new loan made ? As I have mentioned before I really like JustUs especially the Guarantee loans but the lack of availability is shocking. How are they making money (or more likely justifying the operating costs) ?

Just look in the Funded Loans page. Last loans (unsecured) were in October. Last Guarantor loan September. I think they have been distracted by their cryptocurrency adventure (what could go wrong there?) And taken their eye off the P2P ball. Certainly the earlier promises of increased loan flow are looking a bit hollow now. So far I've left my small test amount on the platform but not adding any more funds. Wondering whether to just withdraw it all as the lack of any activity is starting to concern me.

justusmike.co Has this platform gone into some kind of suspended animation?
