Yep, just bunged in A few hundred at 6.4%. Xmas come early. i do pity the poor muppets who got conned into lending at just over 4% a few months ago, though. Will history repeat next isa season? This time last year (30 August 2017), I had a succession of matches from 7.5% up to 7.9% (half of which are still active loans). So, although I'm jumping in with you now at 6.4%, maybe we're the muppets!

It's usually at this point that the market 'crosses over' and new money gets say 6.5% while the lending queue is suspended.
My 6.3% loan is for 33 months.

If everyone could please just hold off from submitting lower orders, we would all get our 6.4% !
Patience ... every evening this week, the rates available have steadily pushed up until after 10pm. There's no need to settle for 6.1% now.

I will be putting in orders at each step; I'm happy to take an comfortable average rather than the possibility of a spike with a risk of nothing.

Hmm, I wonder where 5 Year market is heading this evening and weekend. It's just started on the 6.1% queue, and the steps above are quite thinly populated.
Also, there's a borrower wanting a third of a million in the 1 Year market, which can only be tending to push rates upward across the platform.

I got sucked into dropping a bit more into it.....

Personal prediction... by Monday 10pm they will be matching 6.7%. DAMMIT!
In the RS silly season for rates i transferred out £45,000 to FC and LW - slowly returning funds as long as 6%+ is achievable. But it's sloooooooooow....

From FC, it should be quick, shouldn't it? If you wait for natural repayments it will be ages, but I recently sold an FC portfolio of 200 loan parts in aproximately 45 seconds. Having done so, I could have withdrawn and had it on RS (by card) first thing the next working day.

I've never tried a withdrawal request from FC on a non-working day, but I agree it may well be treated as if it were made first-thing the next working day, in which case the FP transfer would hit your bank account before business hours on Wednesday and you could then deposit it with RS immediately by card or by about midday as an FP transfer. I reckon the 6.0%-ish rates will still be available on RS (just not in the morning).
It's not instant, but it's not too bad for a platform-to-platform switch and I just didn't think it was so slow as to justify 10 O's in sloooooooooow!

The bank holiday on Monday is an added problem this week. FC are no worse than most other platforms few seem to initiate transfers except on working days. Moneything to their credit is the only platform I find manages to get the money paid the same day, seven days a week (unfortunately a bit harder to sell on than FC)
