If all the loans due this month pay back then FS will be awash with released capital. Thegrumbler will have gone and then should be removed from the forum as he says he is leaving p2p and therefore has no right to comment. Moaners may be IFA’s who think 5% returns are good only get paid from suckers paying ongoing charges as they won’t advise non FCA protected investment so want people out of P2P. . Still waiting for one of the people making huge losses that are supposed to be out there to demonstrate how they managed it with max of 1% per loan that would be prudent.
The government invests in P2P as do several fiscally aware institutions. Few things are all bad or all good. Good is making money Bad is loosing money hear thousands say “I have made money” I hear nobody say I have lost money So a question ?? I ask all who read this to honestly say the answer YES or N0 to the question. Since investing in FS do you have more money now than when you started .? A simple test to show actual results. As with every investment past performance is no indicator of future performance Here is the question since you asked nicely.

That is a statement with an appeal for confirmation not a question. That would be why I failed to recognise it as you intended.

It was intended to shut up all those claiming lots of people are making overall losses where there are none if invested prudently. I can prove a profit nobody has yet come up with anyone making a loss after me asking several times over the last year

With regards to your words on the rights to comment, I am not sure how you dare to say who can comment or not. Until you buy and shut down the forum, I will attempt to save people from loosing their money, so I will continue to comment.... And beware that I started getting off FC in 2016 and I still have bits and pieaces laying around with still 2-3 withdrawals a month. So prepare yourself for a long journey! Getting out of such rubbish platforms is not an easy ride. You should be the rumbler you just go on and on SHOW US ALL 1 just 1 person who made an overall loss. Where are you going since you don’t like P2P stock market only averaging 10% and average nieve investor that you are saving won’t have the acumen to invest wisely. So tell us all or as usual just spoute negative unsubstantiated twaddle. The warnings don’t say current performance is an indicator of future performance or listen to you you know better but can’t give any solid info. We are all supposed to just believe the empty barrels that make most noise As to getting out so you have some money left in some loans if you had invested wisely it should be a pittance and it could be offset as I presume the loans defaulted. I would have no problem getting out to my satisfaction I’m happy to wait or even lose the money I would have left as I have already made enough and it is less than 3% of my capital of which at least 60% sells each month at some point I would simply withdraw rather than reinvest. Your Gollum like need to have back every precious penny is meaningless. If the money you made is more than the money you have left in loans then that is a success. People who obsess on the minutiae of every penny and attribute some significance to each have a big problem in that they can’t just take their investments as a whole as all businesses do. Lose a little gain a lot equals happiness. Lose a little gain a lot but obsess over the lose equals a bitter sad individual I still say you will never tell us where you want all those you have saved from that amazing word potential should invest. Please prove me wrong I will happily apologise when your advice is demonstrably more profitable Sorry up a bit late got sidetracked reinvesting today’s sever thousands I had in sales.

It is very clear from the beginning that's your only goal (selling). Unfortunately with 30+% of NPL you will find hard to sell anything on the SM, even at 1% discount. Try it instead of lying about how much you sold.... I have lots of parts for sale and nothing shifts. As usual we all can see you totally avoid the question you can tell us where your magic money tree is. I have never hidden the fact that my goal is to sell and it works I have nothing for sale at -1% because there is no profit in that BG tells you that they are selling other people say they are selling £35 million Has sold in the last five months but you just ignore that fact because you are selling at -1% doesn’t mean to say there are not still good Loans that can be sold moment and still make a profit. You didn’t say whether you’ve made a profit but I guarantee you have. Despite you moaning you are not stupid just unbelievable You have not showrn one demonstratable overall loss from anyone you do not tell us where you want people go with their money when you have given them salvation so how can you expect anybody to believe a word you say. When the land in Suffolk pays in the near future We will see who is right. if you are right the faithful will withdraw all the money and the SM will be stagnant however if I am right and the £1.5 million plus Will be reinvested and the SM will return to a more normal state and the new loans will be filled. I feel like Jeremy Paxman Trying to get an answer but I will ask again where are you suggest putting those saved money. I don’t expect a reply. If you look at previous posts I was asked nine questions I comprehensively replied privately to that person I have nothing to hide and I’m happy to help. Have a quiet day As you will have nothing to withdraw An won’t be answering any questions. I will just pop off and invest the money from loans I have sold this morning. Anyone wanting to check that loans are selling just take a snapshot of total for sale and then do it again at 9Pm you will see that the loan parts are selling. There are probably not a lot of new investors but as you see the new lines are also filling albeit slowly with money from those that have sold

Thanks for the question I have sent you a comprehensive answer by PM just in case others think I don’t answer awkward questions such all those ignoring my request to prove overall losses P.S I’m happy to admit I have a financial motive to make money and can only do this if everybody is also making money one big happy family. (We all know about family arguments) Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure why the need for a PM, but that's your choice and I'll respect that, so will leave it there.

Ask lenders in Knaresborough, Wind Turbine, Power Boat, Wimbledon, Whiteheaven, Barnoldswick, Arts Loans, Londonderry, the Mixed Use Property in Liverpool, the Microsculptures, Burnley, Newcastle, Willenhall, Warrington.... and the lists goes on and on, as with 30%+ NPL everyone suffered defaults and more might suffer in the future if FS does not change their working model. Yes the same dozen loans listed. Of course there 2,300 loans (£175m worth) that have completed and returned all capital and interest to investors. But we wouldn't want to mention those would we

At pains of repeating myself for the 10th time, being 3 months late on a development or a bridge is a million miles away from a default and is fairly typical for these sorts of loans. Look at any platform you wish. The stats themselves prove nothing without context. How many loans were late a year ago? How many 2 years ago? If you are saying that late loans are significantly higher than then, you may have a point. But you can't as you don't have the stats....you can just make a biased guess with no evidence.

Grumbler typed quicker than me or something, but i'm on the same tack:
Sorry BG & at the risk of the wrath of you & others; you may be able to throw that as the logic of your argument - & it may well be correct along with Godanubis - but the start of all this was in the confidence with the way FS both supply info & seem to react to late loans.
OK, accept some wipeouts. And point in time assessment depending on how you spread your money, an individuals return could be anywhere in the range 0-14% et al. A lot of investment - particularly commercial - relies on the confidence ingredient. his is not that different. There can be NO doubt the effect is being demonstrated on the loans available section; these would be filled in relatively short time but 12 months back or less. no longer the case at present.
To bring it right back to the nub of the problem on page 1 of this thread, the confidence element needs the spanners from FS side to get it back in order. Perhaps even some realistic (or better, truthful sit-reps) on these late performers & what are perceived to be unconvincingly viable property loans.

In my view confidence relies on perception rather than cold hard facts.
When I joined this P2P platform about 42 months ago I was full of confidence and, in my view, this wasn't misplaced. I had an overall return in the order of 12% during the first 12 months and I was a really happy chappy. Alas how things have changed
My problem has been the past 30 months. Frankly I don't believe the valuations FS ascribe to property loans. I have serious doubts that FS actually manage very late repayments (those 6+ months late) as my impression is that they will accept any and all excuses from lenders for not repaying and the reluctance of FS to default loans is astonishing - I assume, because I can't think of any other reason, that this is to "massage" their statistics ( if there is a better reason I would be appreciate it if someone could post the reasons why).
Yes I have lost confidence in FS and now I only have loans that are late or defaulted and I expect a return of about 30% on these - for which I will be grateful.
Can I also say I find it very distasteful to read the posts from those who think FS is the best thing since sliced bread and those who have a diametrically opposite view. Please be gentle with each other even though you may disagree.

Paging fundingsecure actually, scratch that, you’re already here. if any of us think FS read this forum regularly we are completely deluded ... i’m sure in the grand scheme of things they have no interest in it ...
