Possibly, but I also suspect there is possibly a case of looking for an interpretation to support your view. As a counterpoint, the recent Patek Philippe raised £55k in a minute. It could be argued that the primary difference is such a low bid limit on the Rolex guarantees it will take a while to fill. Yep, no doubt 6 - 12 months ago there would have been congestion, but £50 max means 90 lenders, so one every 12 seconds on average. Perhaps more telling are the lack of complaints from lenders who 'missed out' and that the max should have been smaller! That typically happens on renewals. A renewal of a £4k rolex typically only has £500 available. That's when it's easy to miss out. In years of investing I've never had any trouble with getting a share of loans that require this many lenders to fill, but you're right in that I'd have expected this loan to be only available for 2-3 minutes, rather than the 15 or so it was.

Notification of loan repayments - worth it. Notification of significant loan updates - worth it. Notification of updates prior to the end of loan term that notify us that there'll be a proper update once you've spoken to the borrower - not worth it.
Seriously, there are loans which are 4 months past their end dates with no updates (e.g. 2419041369) - why not at least put holding notes on those instead?

fundingsecure ..Good to see you're being proactive with regard to the recent updates on Halifax & Theale..both currently around 160days. However, despite being tagged several times on the Reading loan..6147432141..the last update of which was over 10 weeks ago, the loan has now reached almost 700 days. As you deemed the property unworthy enough to warrant a proper valuation at the time, one assumes you were confident that the advance you made to the borrower, was as safe as the proverbial house. As this is now a month short of 2 years, investors in this loan including myself would like to know what you're doing to find a resolution to this situation...thanks.

I did message them asking for an update along with several others near 700 days old and the lady in chat said she would talk to the loan manager to get an update out, and since sod all.It is obvious Fundingsecure only want to update the positive loans and think we will all forget about the rest and carry on kicking them down the road

100% agree - message to FS - it won't work thanks to electronic diaries etc and lenders who aren't completely stupid...

How had a quick shufty - mainly seems to be a case "no real progress - will update in a month"
Maybe Weston Rhyn will come good but I having looked at similar properties in the area I think it will be close. Still no news about the Park Homes - maybe a late night update over the weekend as if we won't notice...

If you already haven't..check your email settings on your Main Account..even if your options are correct, I suggest you alter them..and save..then alter them again back to the correct option settings..and save again...I seem to remember doing that once for my own account. In the meantime Im sure FS will send you it if you ask nicely
