I appreciate that we aren't discussing any particular questionnaire on this forum because it's confidential. However hypothetically speaking, if the accompanying letter told me to return the completed questionaire to the email address provided but didn't actually provide an address, a person could become very confused. Given that the sender adddress of the document bore no obvious connection to CUK, I'm reluctant to send confidential information back to it without reassurance that I should. Did I miss a more appropriate address to send it back to and if so, please could someone PM it to me? I'm reluctant to send any confidential information via email. I've requested a postal address.

Me too. Have you heard anything? On the other hand if your email client shows the address clearly of the form <something>@fca.org.uk we should be confident of where it is going (assuming all the other usual caveats mainly being clean device and network )

I also asked for a name/postal address, or secure method to respond, and this was completely ignored in their reply below. "Please see attached questionnaire in word format for ease of return. If you have already returned a questionnaire to this mailbox please disregard this email."
All I got back was a Word document to fill in!!! ...and presumably to email it back.
Emails are not secure for the confidential info requested.

On a related matter what do we think is meant by “nuts and bolts basis”? I thought this was a bit of a strange question also. I guess it is how each individual interprets it.... (I took it to mean that their setup was run by Dr Frankensteins creation, and looking at how they ran their IT (backups etc), it seems that I was right!!)

Anubis is known as the god of death and is the oldest and most popular of ancient Egyptian deities.

You give more to a holiday firm and they would then know when you were away to give to robbers .

Not having a pdf editor I was pleased to receive the form and letter as Word documents only to find that they are distorted ie several questions in the pdf format do not show up in the Word version. Anybody else had this problem?

I winged my responses off yesterday and found the action of putting my tuppence worth down in writing and sending it direct to the organisation I hold largely culpable for this fiasco quite cathartic.
Whether it gets read or indeed has any impact on the FCA's thinking who knows. But hey maybe there's a version of this world were a regulatory body would hold its hands up to its own shortcomings and compensate those who may end up out of pocket when all this concludes.

Dream on. It will just convince them that for an easier life, in future they should limit who can invest in p2p.
