Well I can't bid on the loan as I haven't signed up to the not so new t&c's, so I'm not sure I'm allowed a guess; but I could do with a bit of chocolate cheer, so if it's allowed ... 89% Shouldn't be a problem, you are way out. Reverse engineering based on the last loan suggests 98.68%. However seasonal adjustment would give 95% a better shot (yes I have just sneakily had 2 attempts) Edit. I think as I quoted a rate, I technically get 3 shots. Sometimes gut instinct is better than reverse engineering. Festive treats arrived already Many thanks Ed / MoneyThing . Wishing you, SophieThing , the twin things, and all at MT a brilliant Christmas and New Year. Indeed seasons greetings to all fellow forumites especially my hard working colleagues - dan1 ; df ; GSV3MIaC ; mrclondon ; and Ton ⓉⓞⓃ . Here’s hoping 2019 is a better year for P2P.

Blimey, where is everyone? Well, as I won some chocolates on the back of the last ones I'll do a bit of advertising for them. Two more in the series going live tomorrow - Wednesday 16 th at midday.
MTAZ986 - A Merc £115.5k - 70% LTV - Bid limit £208 - 3 month loan @ 12% MTAZ985 - A Ferrari £96k - 70% LTV - Bid Limit £172 - 3 month loan @ 12%
That'll be six car loans to this borrower, with two due to repay the end of this week. And no I still haven't signed those t&c' so none for me.

Given the almost total lack of any shared DD at this time, I would argue you could in all good conscience accept the T&c and take 'advantage' of these perceived good loans. That is the decision I made a while back. If nothing else it gives an opportunity to cover some of the hopefully temporary losses. There will be new T&c' not to accept when the SM is changed anyway. I would rather see new borrowers with new loans, but these have gone ok so far, and the people like them which at least means they can be sold if needed.

keystone - in all other ways they look the same, but today's offering has 50 miles on the clock and 983 had 1411 miles, so to me they are different? I am sure MT will confirm shortly! Cheers P

MoneyThing, can you please clarify why it was decided to change underlying vehicles (and start new loans) rather than extend the existing loans? thanks

MoneyThing , can you please clarify why it was decided to change underlying vehicles (and start new loans) rather than extend the existing loans? thanks Afternoon ric. It was agreed at the start of relationship with the borrower that term & LTV combination was set at 3m & 70% respectively. The short-term specifically was to reduce the amount the LTV would increase from a depreciation* perspective. Kind regards, Ed. *having said that, many of the higher end & rarer cars we do lend against with this borrower typically depreciate a lot slower than your more mainstream mass produced cars.

A tale of a Hare & a Tortoise?
With regard to the Mercedes G63, and purely as a matter of curiosity (only mildly miffed), why was it that today, at 12:00:06, I was limited to a £208 purchase (despite enterering a higher figure) while someone less speedy than I was allowed to pick-up the princely sum of £3,917 a full 6 sec later?

A query - had you already picked up the £208 allowed between 12 yesterday and 12 today? If 'yes', then maybe the limit was a bit slow to come off .. even though it should have ended at 12:00:00.
if 'no' then it could be that, or it could be that moneything's whole clock was a few seconds slow, so you got yesterday's allocation..
