A query - had you already picked up the £208 allowed between 12 yesterday and 12 today? If 'yes', then maybe the limit was a bit slow to come off .. even though it should have ended at 12:00:00.
if 'no' then it could be that, or it could be that moneything's whole clock was a few seconds slow, so you got yesterday's allocation..
Maybe the Things were on Proplend at 12.00 like everyone else, trying to pick up some of that loan in the few seconds it was available?

A tale of a Hare & a Tortoise?
With regard to the Mercedes G63, and purely as a matter of curiosity (only mildly miffed), why was it that today, at 12:00:06, I was limited to a £208 purchase (despite enterering a higher figure) while someone less speedy than I was allowed to pick-up the princely sum of £3,917 a full 6 sec later? Maybe you were buying on a “cached” page that was setup before 12:00. You would probably need to refresh the page after the limit was removed.

Afternoon ianj. Been trying to work out how this might have happened. Originally I thought it might have been due to what hantsowl suggested ("Maybe you were buying on a “cached” page that was setup before 12:00. You would probably need to refresh the page after the limit was removed."), however this cannot have been the case since you already fully subscribed to the bid limit for the 24hrs proceeding midday today and therefore if it was cached then it would have not allowed you to bid a further amount at all. You will also notice on the attached screenshot that there were two bids >£208 successfully placed before you and therefore I have ruled out a server time mismatch. I can only think that perhaps you have autofill turned on on your browser and it had cached the £208 entered in yesterday (or the day before), against that URL and although you entered an amount >£208, whilst moving you mouse down to the submit button it accidentally autofilled to the £208? Might be missing the mark on this but can't think of any other alternative cause at the moment. Kind regards, Ed

Kind regards, Ed It's certainly true that today's activity was within the same session (using Auto Reload Tab) as yesterday, although, as you have already deduced, I would have had to reload the page after 12:00 to be able to enter anything. As speed of hand was paramount at that time, I really have no idea whether the figure I entered (via paste: later checked to be >208) was present at the time SUBMIT was hit. As far as I can tell, I have no Autofill set on within Firefox and have never previously (knowingly) experienced the appearance of spurious data entries. C'est la vie!

I am damn sure I had bid for 9999 something. Probably a bug which needs fixing. Someone just got lucky.
