I have been investing a good few months now and take the view of spreading the money in chunks across ranges. ie. say some at 10-15%,12-15%,11-15% , 13-15%
This gives me a minimum of 10% on 25% of my investment. No problem with deposits or uptake being slow. With PF and discretionary bonuses being paid I am a happy bunny.
Come April I will switch all to FISA so we will see how easy that goes if I have to sell loans then move funds to FISA or deposit sufficient into FISA and on two computers Sell and select 10-15% in FISA with the hope of buying my own parts rather than waiting for others to sell or new borrowers. Then transfer from other FISA's as much as required.
The two screen shenanigans aren't going to help you get your IFISA invested on Welendus. All money loaded into your IFISA will go to the back of the lending queues for the rates that you have selected. Yes but there may not be a queue. Even so I would just allow the funds in the FISA to buy as normal and wait for others to sell they would either sell straight away too others or to me. The advantage of FISA saving 19-41% tax outweighs the minimal loss of interest wating for allocation.

I wasn't suggesting that switching to the IFISA was a bad idea, just that you can't game the system with the two screen thing. BTW, are you allergic to commas? 😄

Wondering how is it is to withdraw funds from welendus. Anyone tried withdrawing yet ? From my test withdrawals a few months ago the higher rate loans were sold pretty much instantly, the lower rate loans took longer to sell, maybe a couple of days. I guess this is because not many people have lending offers at the lower rates. Payments to my bank account were prompt. I'd say it's pretty painless.

Looking to give these a whirl but sadly seems I'm not compatible with their 'water boarding' & they 'cannot divulge any further information in respect of this matter'
All very odd - anyone hit this block with them previously ? (my details are all staggeringly normal btw)

(my details are all staggeringly normal btw) I was blocked by a different financial institution recently, for no apparent reason 'your application has been denied and our policy is that we won't discuss individual cases with individual'. I emailed them and they sorted it out...took few days. Imagine worth asking W to do so.
