Has anybody successfully setup an ISA with WeLendUs?
I'm trying to, but I'm guessing I'm not doing something right ... on the "My Profile" page I click "Create ISA Account". This launches a dialog titled "Confirm to create an ISA account" where you have to tick to agree to the T&C's. Even after ticking, the button "Create and switch" remains disabled.

I have problems with the welendus buttons sometimes, mainly on my work PC which has a rubbish old version of explorer. However on my phone it's fine (android/chrome). I remember having to use my phone to create my ISA account so maybe just try a different device.

I’m using the chrome browser on my laptop and will try Microsoft Edge later on today. I’ve emailed Welendus yesterday afternoon, but only have an automated response so far stating that they will get back to me within 5 working days. Feeling frustrated as I have transferred funds in to invest in the ISA.

Did you actually open the T&Cs or just tick the box? I think you have to have actually looked at the T&Cs for the link to work.

That’s a little embarassing for somebody who has worked in IT for 30 years to miss 😞. I had looked through the T&C’s a couple of weeks ago, but didn’t have funds available at that point. So I hadn’t clicked through to them this time. Thank you everybody for your help!

I have created an IFISA for the 2019/20 financial year on WLU...however due to the slow down of matching since the new financial year, I was looking to open an IFISA on AC to reduce cash drag.
I understand you can put a maximum of £20,000 into an ISA each financial year. But are you allowed to split this....i.e. between WLU IFISA and AC IFISA?

New ISA money can only go into one of those (as they are the same ISA type *). You can transfer previous year ISA money to more than one ISA of any type.. (*) Your total ISA pot is £20,000 for the current year but you could split that between different ISA types e.g. Cash, Stocks & Shares, Innovative Finance.

That is what I thought but I wanted to double check So if I have an IFISA with FS from the previous 2 years ISA money, I can transfer this to AC? Considering I have already committed to WLU IFISA for this year

Check transfer out charges if you're considering several transfers.

Finally set up a Welendus account for some stray funds elsewhere.
Only I can't log in after setting up account, even after changing password.
Not a great welcome.
