I don't know it it's good. I was investing from beginning and always drip feeding, so can't compare. Happened to me many times - as soon as I lower the rate the surplus get matched, but at higher rate than my minimum setting. I don't know any theory behind it, but turning rates down helped me to keep invested. I've hardly ever been in any serious queue. I don't mind lowering rates down to the minimum at the start of new investments because returns get reinvested much quicker, so my goal is to get the ball rolling asap. Returns gwt invested much quicker? When you get capital/interest back it doesn't join the same queue as new investments. Returns have priority. At least this is how I understand it - the same mechanism is used by LW and Zopa (iirc).

Does much matching activity take place during the weekends....I may have to top it up in that case?

nsiam I'm glad you found the time to answer others' questions but you skillfully ducked mine. Is it correct I currently have around £10,000 earning nothing which I'm also unable to withdraw? That is around half my total investment in the platform. If you chose to withdraw without re-investment then the money should be in your linked bank account or in the process of being transferred there.

Thanks for that but I didn't chose to withdraw because I was trying to re-invest into smaller investments. So is that cash just sitting there waiting for the last tiny amount of the investment to be repaid?

About an hour ago I was invested in 528 loans and now it is 478.
My not lent amount has gone back up again
But I can't see what happened?
Any ideas?

The number refers the number of loans you have acquired since becoming an investor, not the actual number of live loans you are currently holding. The number usually goes up, I haven't seen it gone down. But sometimes, I do see "lag" in the dashboard, but eventually it sorts itself out later.

Welenudus lends money to borrower on the same day based on successful loan application, so matching activities take place every day in theory. The amount of matching activities taken place depends on demand and the spare cash in the account plus other investment queue factors.

Looks like it may have been the lag in the dashboard you mentioned. Just logged in agian and the numbers seem to have aligned back to where they were before.

Ahh I see its all stuck in "Pending Withdrawal". I must have checked/not-checked the box and selected withdraw by mistake and this is my punishment ! Maybe if I ask nsiam nicely he'll move it (if his system allows him) to unassigned deposit. Edit: First ever customer services email sent. I've realised this money is not only due to earn nothing for many weeks to come but is still at (platform) risk. I hope they can sort it !

Perhaps he was 'liking' your honesty in admitting it was your own mistake?

Where is the setting you can adjust on whether you want your interest earned either to re-invested or available to witdraw to your bank account?
I have read some memebers mention a re-investment tick box.
