Thanks very much.
I've found it:
"the IPO of V***** I********* plc on the London Stock Exchange is now at a very
advanced stage and is anticipated to compete mid-September 2019."
Will be interesting to see how the IPO goes.

Does anybody know if the IPO has happened? It said it the notes it was supposed to happen the second week of January not had any update since then. I noticed that one of the companies is in administration and money is owing to HMRC which may be delaying the IPO? I also noticed one of the directors was in a Telegraph article recently, does anybody know the outcome of the case? Wondering if reason for delayed IPO.

If one of their companies is in administration and in debt to the Revenue then doesn't look good. It'd be useful if there were updates from time to time from these companies on AR to their lenders, but once they've gotten our money they don't want to know until they come back wanting more £££s.

When did they say this? Why is the company not keeping us updated? First the IPO was going to be September, then October, now January (last day tomorrow). I can't see that Ablerate has said it is 'all on track' for months. It isn't on track at all, the dates keep being moved. You're right: it's farcical that they state they're going to finally IPO in September 2019 and now, in February 2020, they neither have done so nor is their any update as regards that and at the same time there is worrying information coming out about the borrower. It'd be tremendously useful if AB updated borrowers on this lender. At the end of the day this is the subprime sector: replete with borrowers who are Del Boys, don't stick to timelines or projections, and who disappear when it is opportune for them. There is a reason these folk borrower via P2P platforms, where they can lure in mostly naive lenders who they can then take for a ride. Based on their credit profiles and their behaviour (the number of people who've been bankrupt I've seen borrowing huge amounts of money via P2P profiles in just the last month alone astounds me), most institutional investors wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.

Thanks for your comment p2pfan. I was started to feel like I was going mad with the previous comments, where they didn't 'get' my concerns.Being told everything is 'on track' and to 'relax' is incredible. Yes, the goal posts have constantly been changed. I'm presuming they are floating on the AIM market, I watch this regularly for new and upcoming issues and they are nowhere to be seen. During my investigation into this company re the IPO I was looking into the track record of the Directors and was really concerned to see that one of them was in a well known national newspaper a couple of months ago in regards to a fraud case. I feel I need to learn more about the vetting of these lenders. Furthermore, one of the acquisitions T*** of the two loans they raise funds for appears to be in administration. The announcement can be found online and appears to have occurred approximately 4 months after the acquisition. Also they talk in the notes of have an tax bill from HMRC that HMRC are refusing to come to an agreement on.

Due to the nature of information flows when a company is listing we do not intend to give a running commentary on the process as to do so could create a liability for privileged information. The administration of one of the companies was covered at the time of the loan. Loans are up to date. When we are in a position to update lenders we will.
