Still waiting for today's repayments as I write. Unusual for a Tuesday?
Unusual, but not unprecedented. Yesterday was extremely delayed, and presumably this has had a knock-on effect into today.
If I were to hazard a guess, I would say they have a scheduled task to start the days payments at, say 2am. If that job takes so long that it's still running by the next time it's due to run, then it doesn't start a second instance. So today's payment run would then have to be started manually, which means later (maybe when someone arrives at the office), and slower because there's more database activity during daytime. Just my guess ... been there, done that!
Maybe the YTS trainee who runs the update had had a really long day and was given the next morning off?

Judging by the last “facelift” of the RateSetter web pages, the YTS trainee has been re-assigned to programming the IT systems.
I just hope he doesn't get moved sideways to running the company itself!
Seriously, I am getting very concerned about RateSetter - No properly run outfit would put up with, or allow, the incompetence being shown by the people who program the RateSetter IT systems. Their efforts are just so amateur. The settlement process is a getting consistently later (I assume because it takes longer and gets less efficient every time it runs). This is fast becoming a major issue to the investors - I have written to them about this and received nonsense in reply. (The YTS trainee must have been running the help desk that day).

Sadly the triage team has probably been briefed to push back on any screen updates. I do agree with your thoughts and its clear to me that QA and testing have been side stepped to get these changes into the market. Its a shame that they did'nt test it on a toy though especially the new markets fonts being unworkable.

I thought that they were a bit quicker these last 2 weeks after a major issue, or are they now running a day behind?

Friday's transactions had been applied before I looked first thing this morning. The only time I've ever seen them a day behind is on the Tuesday after a Monday 1st of a month.

Is it me or are repayments taking longer and longer to process?
Based on my lending, Rolling repayments have not finished yet (3.24pm) and only then will the 5 year market repayments get started.
I know this weekend includes the 1st of the month but weren't we promised speedier processing a while back and all we've got is a clunkier website?

Gets worse each month, bad when the 1st is a weekend. Worse when a bank holiday coincides with the start of the month.

I don't have any Rolling payments due today so I cannot tell, but if Rolling still hasn't paid out by mid-afternoon then that's a new low of slow!
Even when things have been slow before, usually Rolling finishes quite early and it's 5 Year that takes forever.
I doubt I'll see my 5 Year payments before midnight, so I will lose a day's interest (because I'm withdrawing them), including on an early repayment that I can see due today which I really didn't want to leave earning zero. On the plus side (for those staying in), before the automatic reinvestment orders are created there should be some reasonably good rates on 5 Year.
