I am 28 days into a sale queue and had 156 loans for sale yesterday. Today, according to the 'my portfolio' tab, all my loans have now gone back to being live etc. Has anybody else had this? My 'loan parts for sale' information is blank at the moment. If FC are putting the system right it could account for selling times extending from 56 days.

The 'sell' page is still showing the correct figure. Maybe all the original 'processing' loans are being added back.

Will be interested to hear feedback on the cause.

The sell page always did show the original sale figure, even when many loans had been removed from the queue.

They are definitely messing with something. There are currently no loans for sale on any of my 3 accounts that all had many loans for sale yesterday.

Yes, all my 'for sale' loan parts have been returned to the live state, on two accounts. However, on the sell page the original amount of the sale is still shown as selling. I see two possibilities: 1. They have by accident or design cancelled all sales, and that is it - in which case there will be many serious complaints to handle. 2. They plan to go through each account and place for sale loans to the value of the requested amount, if possible. In which case we would wish to know the timescale of selling.
Whatever you do, best not to select 'stop selling' until we know what is going on. This will still be your requested amount in a queue.

I had a message from 'benaj' this morning saying he/she instructed a sale today.
I asked him/her to post it on this thread.
It appears what ever is happening with FC it did not stop a sell instruction being carried out.

Same happened to me. I contacted FC and got this
”We have recently updated the sale tool and the way that it operates. Previously it selected the loans at the time when you put the sale request through which is when the loans would change status but now it will select the loans when you are at the top of the queue meaning that the loan will remain Live in terms of their status, but as long as it states they are selling on the sale page then this is all that it required.”
so this looks like good news for once.

...although I guess this means loans will take longer to get to the front of the queue and sell

That could be classed as ingenious. Simple and uncomplicated saving people re listing, a little out of character for FC. Then again they didn't bother to announce it, so not a complete success.

That is good news for a change. However, I guess this will have the effect of lengthening the sale queue. I'm on 60 days and counting....

rweb; Looks like you could be the first to inform us the new system has been applied retrospectively.
Then everyone can make plans what to do with up to an extra 50% cash they were not expecting.

Good news, my sale went through just now after 60 days. I received 99.96% of what I placed for sale, which was a few hundred loan parts. I'd probably account for the variance in them now selecting loans as close to the original sale value I'd requested under the old selling system.
I consider to have de-risked to a comfortable level and will be keeping my remaining loan parts.
Updated graph for anyone interested. I'd probably not pay too much attention to the trend line at this point.....
