On a couple of occasions recently, I've had emails for matches in the rolling market which have completely not tallied up with what I see in my account.
Yesterday: Email 1: Investment order xxxxx for £nnn.nn at 2.9% in the Ratesetter market within your ISA account has been matched Email 2: Investment order yyyyy for £aa.aa at 4.5% in the Ratesetter market within your ISA account has been matched
I'm not matching any new money in the Ratesetter market at the moment, so the only amounts I have are "rolling" amounts at either 4.1% or 4.5%. I can see the transaction from Email 2 in my Portfolio, but nothing for the (larger) amount in Email 1.
Same happened on April 23rd with an amount claimed to be matched at 3.2%.
Are these mails just artefacts of the internal workings of the ertwhile "Rolling" market?

I had the same yesterday. Email said £79 matched at 3.5% on the rolling, when my actual rolling loan was £339 @ 4.7%.

It's been like that for quite a while, I do wonder if those emails referring lenders lending at cheaper rate but borrowers pay the same.

I have stopped investment in the rolling market but still received the weird emails. The initial email annoyed me as I knew my settings but went in and saw nothing new had been invested in rolling.

Me too, I had a lot of E mails saying I had invested at 2.8 and 2.9%. I have just spoken to RS and they gave me the usual 'reading off of a screen' the money is matched to the same borrower for the duration of the loan. When I highlighted that the lowest loan in my rolling portfolio is 3.5% how is it I am getting E mails with rates of 2.8% The Customer service person will get back to me..

The emails are real, the match @ the email rate does take place on the "market" in real time, but the actual rate in the investor loan book is different!

I had a response from RS stating that I don't hold loans at that rate and the amounts were also incorrect. lots of apologies and it has been raised to their IT team to look into..
