So I'm wondering how long it takes money to go from holding to relent at the rate I set me 5y to . It came in some time this morning but its still stuck in lending. Just curious as I was trying to understand how I might control the relend better. That said it was targetted to come in yesterday but came in today so i guess the projected dates are not that close to the reality.

Are you referring to Tuesday? I am fairly convinced that it didn't get placed that day, certainly in 5 year, and was delayed until Wednesday

I checked this morning and its actually gone through now, I was curious but also conscious that these processes are usually on hourly trigger timers so I was expecting it not to be immediately it hits my account. I think it probably was swept from the holding to on market state later in the day (Wed) as I checked it about 1:00 am this morning Thur. According to my transactions data the repayments (int and capital) and the Lend order were all dated 29th, Wed. On Zopa they report movements in their statements by time as well as date. I've not seen that on data from RS unless i'm not looking in the right data, so its not so easy to gauge the timings of internal processes.

On a normal day all the repayments and the moving of funds to reinvestment are done so quickly you don't notice any real difference in timing. On a busy day depending on the age of your loan book you may see repayments dribbling in for some time, then all of a sudden monies arriving on the lending queue. (I have no idea on the processing order here, so it could be oldest account first, or my alpha or anything!) On really bad days which are rare but seemingly becoming slightly more frequent, the repayments can go late into the evening/night. I have never stayed up late enough on one of these occasions to see when the actual money is moved back into the lending queue. All being tagged as the 29th is what I would expect as it really appeared to me that the moving from holding etc was not processed for the 28th repayments, certainly on the 28th. You cant see any time stamps on anything ratesetter as far as I know, I don't ever remember seeing any.

I forgot to mention that the payments that came in on the 29th were in fact targeted for 28th anyway according to my repayment info in my On Loan tables. Many thanks for explaining your experience and knowledge its very helpful.
