Constant tinkering to make choosing your own rate a drawn out process.
Does I.T department have nothing else to do??
I thought it was just the provision fund they were trying to fudge.

I have been taking my money out for months now.
I’m really not convinced RS are in good health.

Just had to scratch my head while choosing my own rate,I wished Ratesetter would leave things as they were.I know what you are trying to do Ratesetter and it won't work with me,If the time comes when I can not choose my rate you will loose me as a long time investor

Obviously edging to a 'fixed' rate. Just wish they'd get on with it instead of wasting more of my time.
Enoughs, enough. I'll be off soon. Have 5 accounts to look after, once was a quick process, now I dread the shenanigans.

That is annoying. I too will be out if you can no longer set your own rate easily. Would certainly make a mockery of the company’ name!

I've never forgiven them for what they did to the rolling market a year or two? back.
I've still got a very small amount with them but even those high rates over the weekend didn't entice me to start moving money back in. I'm basically done with them.

Is this a recent issue, i've only been on rs since nov 18 but it doesn't seem to have changed, probably i'm missing some nuance that others have been using. I've lent out once by mr on my first loan but everyone here soon put me on the right path to lending for better rates.
Edit: I think I see what you mean the rates are not jumping to the market rates but just setting the rate screen. To be honest I've always used the market rates option and only watched the rates very closely. I use a a reloader extension I created to watch them changing across rates. Usually on the 5 year but more recently the rolling with its spurious better rates.
I now just set rates ready for the end of the weekend scramble, that said the rolling is a daily scramble still it seems
