My wife got one. She invests personally. I, on the other hand, have not got one. I assume this is because I invest via a company. I will await the email requesting further information. Too much speculation going on, as ever... I'm a personal investor too and I haven't heard anything yet either. Let's all go and have a nice glass of... well maybe later!

Naturally there is a lot of speculation, people’s capital is involved, and it is just basic courtesy for R** to keep lenders properly updated on such matters, especially when their checks are appearing haphazard to the lenders. Some modicum of comfort or reassurance would not be asking too much, surely?
I for one will be away when/if they do revert and ask for additional documents, so I would like to know now, rather than in a couple of weeks’ time as it will mean I can provide the documents whilst still in the UK. All this delay will amount to some lenders receiving parts of their long overdue capital back later than necessary.
Not only have I not heard from R**, they still have not made any AML checks on my credit profile.

Still waiting here - either for confirmation that I am who I say I am, or details of what hoops I'm going to be made to jump through for their entertainment before they'll agree that I really am me.

This AML stuff is a load of nonsense. Who would launder money via LY when they’d lose 93p in the pound. The AML checks should be done against LB not us.

This AML stuff is a load of nonsense. ... There seem likely to be a very high proportion of users for whom AML checks are completely unnecessary.
I only have one bank account registered for withdrawals, which is the exact same bank account from which all payments into my Lendy account were sourced.
I'll be interested in RSM's explanation of how I could possibly launder money by returning it to the exact same bank account from which it came! First, of course, I need to wait for their next communication which may be tacitly accusing me of laundering money (by saying I've not passed AML checks and asking me to jump through various hoops for their entertainment whilst we all pay them an hourly fee...).

Here we go, more time and costs will have to be incurred by the innocent lenders:
Dear M***
PLEASE READ – ACTION REQUIRED

In order to complete this exercise, please post certified* copies of the following to us:

And
A certified* Bank Statement** (the full unredacted document issued in the past three months) in the name of the registered account (either personal or business).
*’Certified’ means certified by a responsible person such as a professional (Bank or Building Society official; Councillor; Minister of religion; Dentist or Doctor; Chartered Accountant; Solicitor or Notary; Teacher or Lecturer) that “the document is a true copy of the original” (this wording must be included). You need to be able to see the name, occupation and contact details of the person certifying in case of query, and the date of certification.
**If you hold an account in the name of a business, partnership or limited company, please ensure the documents provided match your business address and companies house.
The following areas of the documents must be identifiable in English – name, address, date of birth, bank account details and any expiry dates. Further documentation may be requested upon request.

Anyone else received the email asking for certified copies of ID and proof of address, by the end of this month? This is feeling like a massive waste of my time... edit: ah, I cross-posted with MuchoP2P. Glad it's not just me! FWIW my credit history's about as textbook as it gets - plenty of accounts, plenty of credit, have owned my own home for over four years etc. etc.

I was reserving judgement but agree with everyone calling BS on these AML checks.
I have two ltd companies and a lendy account for each. Both opened using the same ID documents, address etc.
One has no money in - "We've checked your documents, AML check fine, no further action" The other has all my money - "Sorry you've got to send XYZ by this date... allow another 21 days blah blah blah".
So how does one pass and one fail?
We are being rinsed... and that's before getting ripped off getting certified ID from "Bank or Building Society official; Councillor; Minister of religion; Dentist or Doctor; Chartered Accountant; Solicitor or Notary; Teacher or Lecturer"... because they are all so notoriously trustworthy. Absolute joke.

Where do I get stuff certified? I don't know anyone of those professions. Will a bank do it?

Just received the same email and I then logged in to check the details on my Lendy account again. Somehow, my date of birth has been changed to read 01/01/1998. That is not correct. And it was definitely correct the last time I checked.
Clearly someone has changed it so that my details don't match my credit report and to create all this extra work. As if the administrators aren't milking us enough...
