Assume everybody is aware that from today debit card contactless payments are restricted to 4 or a cumulative £135 before a pin is required.
I dont appear to have had any notification from my banks. Not sure if CC are also affected. Phone payments Apple/GooglePay not affected.

News to me too, thanks for the tip-off. I confess to having only recently gone contactless, and that was after the ticket machine at my local station often wouldn't accept my credit card, even a new one, when I inserted it.
I can see lots of people wondering why they're being asked for their pin.

UK SCA rules won't be enforced until March 2021 (Originally 14 September 2019).
Banks will roll out the changes when they are ready.

Get pingit from barclays. you can pay it with your wrist, your key or anything. It's ideal solution when you don't want to carry a Apple Pay / Google Pay phone. web.pingit.com
