Just charge them 20p from the weekly pocket money every time they leave a light on you'll be a millionaire by the time they leave home to make their own fortune!.

Just charge them 20p from the weekly pocket money every time they leave a light on you'll be a millionaire by the time they leave home to make their own fortune!. If only, unfortunately there is not going to be £1m of pocket money to take it from unless you are exceptionally generous!
Also that is a lot of lights. If they were at home for 30 years, that amounts to 456 infringements per day. If lights are on average switched on for 5 hours a day, that would beone every 40 seconds!

I love it when a realist comes on board  especially as you don't know my daughter! I could put it up to 50p a light would that work? Thanks for the mathematical proof though I meant thousands but never was much good at spelling!.
