Woo-hoo!!! ? On the 24th one of my defaults seems to have been recovered - principal & interest. I lack the technical know how to translate loan part ID (from transaction statement) into 'actual loan' and FC haven't added any loan comments BUT the amount seems roughly what I'd expect for this. Anyone else??

Anyone else?? Indeed, I doubt it is that regular an event that two different ones would do it on the same day. I have three (logically £20 originally) that repaid £9.42 capital and £2.74 interest each. Oddly I am mostly indifferent which loan it was, just happy to see it.

Anyone else?? FC have always been dreadful with regard to updating recoveries with either a Loan Comment or a comment in the Repayment Tab and not for the first time ive contacted them recently regarding amounts that have appeared unannounced..its further complicated (at least as I see it) that the original defaulted capital amount doesn't seem to reduce proportionately, despite their assurance that it will be adjusted as soon as. Although I have never used or even understood spreadsheets, I have found a way to decipher what each part number relates to which Loan Number (they used to use the latter) If you are twiddling your thumbs at home because of the virus and the change in the weather and intrigued to know a rather basic way of finding out..send me a PM and I will try to explain.

I call up Loan parts, then bad debt, and scan down to find the loan Id.
Actually Ive now created a spreadsheet that has such usefull info as date defaulted, Loan ID default amount then I have a colum for each month in which I record recoveries.
this means I can check how recoveries progressing etc
for example 56456 should have had update early March from FC but nothing.
OF 5 defaults August/September 2019 only 1 has any recoveries, All October defaults repaying, November none, December 1 of 4

How long should one wait for a reply to such an important email? 3 months+ apparently. Six months on now since that 'infamous' email and still no further update.
More than a year now since the last repayment.
A visit to Companies House reveals a horror story not uncommon to some other FC loans.
In my opinion anyone who still thinks this loan will ever be refinanced is sadly deluded. Of course I hope I'm wrong.
