I received the same email on the 23 August 2021. The six month period will be up on the 23 February 2022, a week from today. So, all will be revealed (or possibly not). The irony in my view is that I would never have invested a penny in any of the P/P sites had they not been promoted as "Authorised and Regulated by the FCA" and in the case of ISA investments, approved by HMRC no less. The FCA allowed itself to be used as promotional material for fraudulent companies, absolutely disgraceful that they now seem to step back from their liabilities. On a brighter not, and a major plus for investors, property prices have risen over 10% in the past two years. Combined with F.S conservative valuations and safe fractional loans there should be significant higher returns for investors. (I really shouldn't have stopped taking those prescribed pills!) Surprise, surprise? Just received email today 24/02/2022, here are extracts from it. I write further to our previous correspondence with you to provide you with an update following the deferral of your complaint. We will update you in six months or on the conclusion of the Enforcement action (whichever is sooner) about whether your complaint will remain deferred.

Has anyone heard anything from the FCA on the FS fiasco ? Thoroughly depressed at being conned like this If you have written to the FCA, they will have sent you a holding reply, just like they did to everyone else who contacted them. The FCA do not wish to interact with the plebs lenders from failed P2P companies. Some of us got near to an appointment with them, but it never materialised!

Received 24/08 12.54
Your complaint about the FCA in relation to FundingSecure Ltd.
We write further to our previous correspondence dated 24 February 2022 to provide you with a further update following the deferral of your complaint.
Following a further review, we have agreed to maintain the deferral of our investigation into your complaint. This is because the FCA’s Enforcement investigation into FundingSecure Ltd remains ongoing. Unfortunately, due to confidentiality obligations set out in section 348 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA), and for policy reasons which are explained on our website, we are unable to provide you with specific details about the ongoing investigation because there are limits on the information the FCA can share.
Due to the ongoing regulatory action, the investigation of your complaint will remain deferred until such action ends, in accordance with paragraph 3.7 of the Complaints Scheme. We appreciate that this is frustrating, and that you have been waiting for a response and closure on this matter for some time.
We will review the status of your complaint again in six months’ time or on the conclusion of the Enforcement action (whichever is sooner) and write to you again about whether your complaint will remain deferred.
Yours sincerely
FCA Complaints Team Risk & Compliance Oversight Division Telephone: 020 7066 9870 Email: Complaints.Scheme@fca.org.uk

Mind you, takes a long time to work out how you did nothing wrong and continue to do nothing wrong as an individual attacks investors returned funds, what there is of them.

The FCA response is pathetic - of course they can investigate the complaint - maybe delay their finding but this is just an excuse to do nothing
I tell you if these people worked for me...
