Google FCA 11 principles of business.with everything that is coming out now how did FS,LY etc ever become authorised and regulated by the FCA .the first principle is INTEGRITY with their definition of how to behave the other 10 will make you laugh or cry. the FCA reviews on TP have made me realise we are wasting our time.

I have made a complaint to the FCA. Main complaint topics are: - FCA approved FS without ensuring the company had appropriate controls to safeguard the interests of investors
- FCA did not ensure that FS had appropriate plans to safeguard investors in the event of platform failure
- FCA did not take appropriate measures after the lack of controls were identified in October 2018
Resolution required: - FCA to oversee the wind-down of loan book in investors interests
- FCA to refund investors for losses caused by controls failures which the FCA should reasonably have ensured were in place
Personally going down the administrators proposal route is folly and will lead nowhere.
Hi pip - could you share the letter you sent to the FCA please? I am compiling my own complaint to FCA for both lendy and FS and want to get it as detailed as possible. PM me if needs be. Many thanks.

Another reply received today. Still on going-
'I am writing to advise that my investigation into your complaint is still ongoing.
Since my last update, I have been reviewing the information that relates to your complaint. Unfortunately, there is still a lot of work that I need to complete before a decision can be made.
I am working to reach a conclusion as quickly as possible but at this stage I am uncertain when I will finish my investigation. I will contact you again within 4 weeks to provide a further update. '

Anyone know what the Time Limit is to get your Complaint about FS into the FCA by? I have looked at their website and it's all Greek to me. Apologies to all Greek FS Investors.

Point well made. Note the FCAs complaint online form asks you to state when you became aware of the issue that you are complaining about. With Col (my centre of focus) the position was made clear by a FCA statement. So whilst it was never 100% clear that the 12 months started on the day that the statement was issued it was best to assume it was. Of course there were ways around this 12 months cut off that allowed valid complaints to be raised after the 12 month period, I know some have taken these routes. For completeness here is the FCAs statement on FS which contains no 'nasties' ..... unlike the Col one.

Just received an update from the FCA. Very informative? The investigation into your complaint is still ongoing. Good progress has been made reviewing the information relating to the complaint but there is still quite a lot of work to finish before a decision can be made. Thank you for your patience, especially during these difficult times that we find ourselves in. I hope that you are staying safe and I will contact you again in 4-6 weeks.
