Although many of us knew that some platforms wouldn't make it in the long run, to see them actually collapsing has been unsettling. Although I am only in four platforms that I consider safe currently, I am slowly drawing down my funds in all of them. The money will be drip fed into trackers funds.

I would wait until after brexit before making investment decisions. But would consider buying:
100g gold bar Rolex gmt master
And chuck the rest in either assetz or loanpad or lending works or ratesetter. Or maybe 25% in each to diversify.

Issue for me is: Is Trump likely to be re elected ??
If so there will be more trade wars and market volatility. Gold is likely to soar. If Trump is not elected then there will be more stability so equities is the way forward?

Have you still not bought yourself the watch?? You’ve been lusting after it for ages! Brexit has no influence on my investments. I put all new money into the vanguard all world equity ETF and will do so in any market conditions, except maybe nuclear war.

Gold is ok for maybe 5% of your assets. Personally, I don’t have any gold and never will.

Surely P2P platforms have a sanity clause! Fiorello: Hey, wait, wait. What does this say here, this thing here? Driftwood: Oh, that? Oh, that's the usual clause that's in every contract. That just says, uh, it says, uh, if any of the parties participating in this contract are shown not to be in their right mind, the entire agreement is automatically nullified. Fiorello: Well, I don't know... Driftwood: It's all right. That's, that's in every contract. That's, that's what they call a sanity clause. Fiorello: Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! You can't fool me. There ain't no Sanity Clause! One of my favourite MB scenes ever.

Thincats giving up is the last straw for me, it is now a question of deciding where to invest all the money withdrawn from UK P2P sites, I am beginning to get nervous about Euro sites too, so not just where to invest repayments.
