It does not matter. The Tories will win regardless. Then they will initiate the HARD brexit. Boris cannot wait to stick his middle finger up at the eu. Jeremy Corbyn will resign after losing and labour will go forth with a fresh female leader. Told ya! But you say Labour will go forth. It will go further backwards before it is in any position to go forth.

Since Brexit is now virtually certain (honestly, if I was talking you'd hear that was said in a respectful manner certainly not in a gloating one) wouldn't the market have already priced it in since its known about ? I mean its not like earlier on in the autumn when we had all those knife edge votes in parliament and nobody knew what was going to happen.

I think having some certainty the markets may rise (or possibly fall) to where they should have risen/fallen to after the original brexit vote. I hope and think the markets will go up.

I would think so. At this point the expectation should be for the UK to leave at the end of January. The next source of turbulence will be of course the free trade agreement. Can a deal be agreed by the end of the next year? Will the government stick to the promise of not extending the transition period beyond 2020 in any case?

See what I mean. Nothing is certain. No body knows what to expect. Too many question Mark's.

I don't see any need for years of negotiations, get the lawyers and civil servants out of it, bring in experienced business people on both sides, ask what anyone needs changing from the current trading arrangements then do a bit of bargaining. All agreed in a week and back to work. Free trade should mean free trade, not we have lots of expensive rules and regulations so you have to do the same, no wonder the EU is going down the international growth charts.

I wonder how many of those driving to the polling station are voting Green! I walked and voted Green - had the Cannabis Is Safer Than Alcohol (CISTA) party been standing as they did in the London elections I'd have voted for them. Point is I am in the second safest Labour seat in the country and my vote means nothing in terms of influencing the outcome of the election. We need a modernised voting system where every vote counts equally. a system where the seats are more the same size ( in terms of electorate ) would help Currently England averages 71000 electors per seat, wales 51,000 ( not checked scoitland or NI ) Why should 200000 voters get 3 seats in England and 4 in wales
