If it walks and quacks like a duck ??. I don’t think it will make much difference except if you get payment you can withdraw it. Perhaps the negative connotation of being in administration my not affect defaulted loan valuations.

Have you been paying any attention at all to the administrations of Lendy/Col/FS???

Definitely don't move it. MT appear to be playing fair with us and doing their best, and we should reciprocate.

Going into administration is a clearly-defined legal process when a company becomes insolvent and is put under the management of a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner. MT aren't in this situation (yet).

This thread should be removed.
MT are not in Administration. They appear to be acting with integrity and with care towards those of us invested with the MT platform
The original post is misleading and likely to cause unnecessary upset.
Sorry godanubis but on this post I think your suggestion is unhelpful.

<Tin Hat On>
I broadly agree with the higher power on this thread. I've never understood why so many like MT. I got out and made a net loss a year or two ago.
I believe the next year is just buying time. Is MT going to finance recoveries (the very thing that took FS under) with its owners cash ?
I'm glad to see this thread has not been deleted. Why would it be? Libel issues aside, isn't a healthy forum one where people share differences of opinion and are not afraid to speak up? A single thread like this is hardly spam. We've seen much worse on other platforms' boards.

However, the boards will be re-arranged in order to address all recent changes.

However, the boards will be re-arranged in order to address all recent changes. The title had to be truncated by limits to length. My main point is that it be moved to a general section including in administration. It is no longer a fully functioning platform. This would aid the less knowledgeable visitors to the forum having a brief view of the sites assuming MT was business as usual. Their approach is considered and responsible and I have no objection to their action. Even though the title was truncated it was a question put up for discussion as previously mentioned by others debate is the bedrock of this forum. The members are savvy enough to form their own opinions and hopefully share these with everyone rather than have just those that agree with a point comment. We do not here “unfriend” those with differing opinions we engage and have grown up debate. Unlike some university debating societies I hope we never end up with censorship rather than the unbiased oversight we currently have.

I notice this morning that MT has been moved to the new "P2x Sites No Longer Open for Investment" category with its title changed to "MoneyThing (MT) in Wind Down".
