Am I the only one having to make 2 attempts at cancelling a lend order, it happened yesterday and I thought I was just doing something wrong but today I wanted to cancel order in both the everyday and the ISA side and Mrs Aju had the same thing in that one has to cancel all orders (even though I only have 1) and go through this twice before the order is cancelled. I'm pretty certain this only started this week and its only in the 1Y that I know about. Edit Update: If you are starting here then don't read further unless you are interested in seeing that it was my own fault in the end.

Actually I managed to cancel an order at the first attempt on everyday account, but will see what happens next time and on the ISA. Pretty much have everything ticking over on defaults anyway so rarely need to do such tbh...

Thx, I'm not sure I've even noticed any defaults on RS yet, I get them on a regular monthly basis on Zopa though and they do affect my returns there is no doubt on that one. The reason I might be cancelling orders on RS is that I have my relend settings set high so I can trap any returned money and review the situation in either the 1Y or the Access products. I am also taking returned money from the Everyday and moving it to ISA for tax reasons. The reason I am only seeing this in the 1Y is that all my relends apart from Access are set to relend to 1Y with high punt rates so that if I get a touch whilst I am busy elsewhere then at least I don;t have to worry apart getting bad rates too. I'm not exactly interested in the low GR/MR rates to be honest as the risks are too high for those. Perhaps there is a click point on the screen that is not picking up the active request correctly - I am using a mouse not my finger - and I've noticed that the active zones on some of buttons are not as full as in the new "webkit" buttons than in the older burron web code. Probably just me though!.

Clicking on the 'red pencil' to edit an order also presents an opton to 'cancel order'. One click from there and it's done. I've also cancelled orders in Access without choosing the edit option.
NB. the above information relates only to my IFISA account

I find the screens are slightly different depending on the browser you're using. Chrome is the most reliable for me. Some of the edit order screens don't work properly in Safari.

Yep, could be a browser/code issue, I too use Chrome with no problems. However, I think we all appreciate that whilst RS is a decent platform the UI is as clunky as hell!

So my chrome i am using is the latest (Version 80.0.3987.106 (Official Build) (64-bit)) I just updated it and I tried Access as well as 1Y and it is definitely still needing two attempts to cancel the orders. I only have a single order and usually cancel via the pen on the main screen but I tried all ways into the screens to facilitate the cancelation and it does not matter which way I come in. What I am finding is that the first cancelation sends me back to the list of the non cancelled item. If I then try the cancel option again it does cancel but if I go back to another screen I have to go through the same process (cancel twice) I tried both routes into the order screen but its the same no matter what. I am on windows 7 still (no comments about safety etc please) but i'll try a win7 laptop I converted to win10 recently and see what happens there. I tried it on my win10 laptop after updating chrome and it worked ok, so then I had a light bulb moment in that I have a stylus extension where I have made the RS screen worked with my colors rather than their stupid colours I find a bit annoying there are other things I have done on other layout stuff too. So I went back to my win7 desktop and turned off the stylus extension to see what happened and it worked as expected. I should have done that first rather than coming here but at lest everyone confirmed it might be my end. I'm off now to investigate what it is in the RS screen that does not work with my changes. Thanks to all for confirming it most likely was my end.

That'll teach you not to try and improve on the marvellous RS visuals

Not sure if their is something wrong with the software or I'm just doing something wrong. I am using a mobile device and trying to cancel money on market via max. But I am just not able to do so. Only option I seem to have is:
1. Leave the money on market at max via 7.5%
2.Lend the money at more realistic rates at some point when the market improves.
I have emailed ratesetter for advice.

Try a different browser on your phone. Cancelling used to be different on Safari and Chrome, although that's been corrected (for now).
