An absurd waste of ten minutes of your life. But it made me smile .

Thanks, I think ...
I have spent more time in the last 10 minutes watching marble racing than I have spent in the last 20 years watching Formula 1 racing.

It's terribly silly, but it did bring a smile to my face. And think of the effort that went in to producing it.... Smiles and laughter are important all of the time. Most especially now. A little innocent humour can go a long way....

I started working with wood due the quarantine Quite interesting when you have nothing left more. I've checked reviews https:// Link Removed by Mod about latest tools for wood working and it helps me a lot to be busy during the pandemic time.

www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000hjpwA BBC Horizon special on the Hubble Telescope to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its launch. Watch it on a good screen, the images are... amazing . It was great wasn't it? The numbers are just mind-boggling. When they focussed the Hubble right up to some little tiny 'finger' of gas in an otherwise massive cloud in some faraway galaxy, and then said this finger, this colourful little column of hydrogen gas, is what forms the stars and this particular one is 30 trillion km high... And then panned out until it was just a speck. I did a quick calculation to give that number some meaning and realised that 30 trillion km was about 200 thousand times the distance to our sun... My missus didn't even blink at that little revelation but to me the sheer scale of everything... it just bowls me over! If bracknellboy set off on his bike tomorrow, at 49 miles per day...

Possibly not the best time right now to be honing one's DIY skills on that new chainsaw you always promised yourself. You really might have nothing left more.

Nothing whatsoever to do with P2P (though there are a couple of sessions on economics) ... try the Hay Festival, running online now. FREE. If the event you want has already past, you may be able to see it anyway on catch up. www.hayfestival.com/home
