Yes, Alex Salmond runs a show on RT, but Corbyn..... is this your own fantasy or did you pick it up from daily mail (or one of these dishonest propaganda outlets). Of course RT is a mouthpiece of Russian state, so is BBC a UK government’s mouthpiece. I don’t particularly like RT, but have to give them a credit - they tend to back up their claims by evidence, which BBC has failed to do many times on my watch. Independant.
who knew we had a Russian Troll amongst us
Because an individual has not taken the BBC/government line of bashing Russia (and China) they are a troll? I've been a member of this forum for years and the vast majority of my posts are about p2p followed by brexit and other stuff. I think I've said nothing about Russia until about maybe a year ago. Am I not allowed to have a view without being told I'm a troll? I'm married to a Ukranian so that is what keeps me interested in the topic. As an aside, misunderstanding and general dislike of other cultures, countries and their people are one of the main reasons for historical wars. Now that we're much better connected due to the internet, air travel and international companies, a lot of that mistrust is going. I've never understood how someone (I'm not saying you Bobo just anyone) could have plenty of apparently reasonable opinions on matters of equal rights for all and yet harbour gross mistrust of other large countries often where the people there are perfectly happy. Surely if you did want to pick a fight about the morals of other countries you'd look to somewhere like Saudi wouldn't you? And why isn't there much coverage on the BBC and elsewhere of the latest public beheading or other torture? That is many orders of magnitude worse than most other bad things some countries get up to but "we" (i.e. the BBC and others) don't bother with it. Why not? Oh, I know, its because they are strategically our friends so sod any enormous torture, abuses and miss-treatment of women, foreigners and others, we'll just not report on it very often. Nothing to stop the BBC reporting on all the abuses - grizzly hangings and mutations could be news day in day out. But no, it gets almost no coverage.

Whenever I watch the BBC news they seem to be bashing the government about something (may well be deserved). And the opposition parties get a fair amount of air time to give their criticisms too. Does that happen in Russia (RT)? (I don't know, I don't watch Russian TV).

Independant.

This story has no connection to RT or Corbyn. Confirmation of Russian Troll. 2015 Jessa was on RT explaining about what he wanted to do as Labour Party Leader.

... If you look back at the last time the UK went to war independantly in the Falklands.....
There's plenty of BS written on social media but I can'd think of any statement more ignorant than this. It really shows a fundamental lack of understanding regarding the conflict.

Still I don't remember seeing many foreign people there but Gurkhas (if you think of them as that) or Argentinians). Do I count the US, well, in the UN they were not with us, but yes they let us use the satellites. Did our other Nato allies jump in to help? ?
Do I think it appropriate to call people ignorant, probably not.

Do I think it appropriate to call people ignorant, probably not. You feel it appropriate to troll people while at the same time putting out patently false statements. If you believe the UK went to war without the support of our allies (and more) then so be it but expect to be corrected. All I can suggest is go and educate yourself.

In my view, the BBC is an establishment broadcaster and slightly biased towards the ruling government of the day, be that Labour or Conservative.
As such, you'll find disapproval of the BBC common on both the left and the right. Programming for every license payer to moan about.
I find Channel 4 News to be much more objective, with a focus on holding the ruling government of the day to account - a much healthier approach if you ask me.

The article you refer to has no relevance to your claim. As for RT - many British politicians, from all sides of political spectrum, were interviewed by RT, so I can’t see any significance of JC’s appearance on this channel in 2015.

I have a friend who works for RT in a technical role (in Europe, but not in the UK or EU).
He used to work for the BBC World Service... before the government shafted him good and proper, by refusing to renew his employer-supported highly-skilled-migrant visa without giving any reasons - he's not an EU national, but has indefinite leave to remain in Schengen.
Even with that history... he regards the Beeb as one of the best broadcasters, truly independent... and doesn't believe a flippin' word on RT.
Make of that as you will.
