My guess is that those folks snapping it up on the SM don't know that it has defaulted. The big red banner is a bit of a clue Perhaps some of the bots, or bot-like-humans, are colour blind? Actually IIRC this one is a loan to Lendy, isn't it? In which case you're likely to just be losing the 'roll up' on the interest you won't get for a while.

Reckon some that panicked have realised it's an old T&Cs loan

The loan has defaulted and its still being hovered up on the SM - if only I could transfer some of my defaulted loans on other platforms on to SS! It does make you wonder......

But isn't the credit risk still passed on from Lendy to the investor, ie Lendy's obligation to repay is still dependent on the borrower repaying?

I'm glad that SS have properly flagged this loan up on site straight away this time, I hope too that they send out an email update to all lenders quickly so that everyone will be aware of the situation as soon as possible.

Quick... get it on the SM.. someones buying it, i can only assume they are colour blind and short sighted. : It's an Old Ts&Cs loan, so SS have pledged to repay it no matter what happens. I expect the SM activity will be very different for the first New Ts&Cs loan that defaults. But will it be obvious by then which loans are under which Ts&Cs?
