All done at CS84? Wow.......100 minutes of finger flying frenzy, got on about 60% of the loans I wished to. I'm pretty much invested as far as I'd like now, so that'll be one less chasing the next few batches of loans! I presume our thoughts will turn to bidding limits, I'm certainly wondering what it will be like when new money and redemption money is looking for new loans in June/July/August. Edit did you notice CS78 funded in 16 seconds (£700 rozzerlex)!!

So todays key points were 1. Maximum bids for an initial period 2. Advanced look at forthcoming loans 3. Loans uploaded in groups 4. Password entry for each bid - is it necessay And more generally More loans to meet an obvious demand More partners to hopefully provide different & potentially larger loans which will assist with above/diversify portfolios Finally - better designed keyboards & more robust bananas Anything else?

Thanks Ed! Comiserations to those of you who didn't get any/most of the loans that you wanted; but please don't lose faith, it's a very young platform and I think with a few tweaks it could easily become a successful and long running platform. Ed's a very receptive guy to criticism and suggestions and I'm sure he's got a couple of his own ideas up his sleeve too.
Quite a few good suggestions have already be made, here's a possible one:
The grouping together of several similar loan agreements - probably a bit of a nightmare to impliment and maybe to administer if 1 defaulted and the others didn't. Would mean it was harder to get more diversified but if people aren't getting the parts at all it's a possible solution.
E.G Rather than a bunch of different £500-£1000 12ct gold jewellery goes up they get bulked into one loan for 4 or 5 grand instead.
Any thoughts anyone?

Ummm, how about the £bid field being zeroed or blank, I have seen 1 or a previous bid quantity in there which is tedious. I'm bidding on an iPad, and my password field is filled, so not a problem for me, but I wouldn't want to enter it for each bid!!

This was my first run. Interesting times!!
The first one I bid on I entered £50 and the password - it came up as £1 - and no the loan wasn't full.
The second loan I bid on I entered $50 again - it came up as £99 - So I am one of your greedy Bxxds taking 25% of a £400 loan - Sorry I didn't mean to.
Any idea what I did wrong?

I think the £1 bid is what I mentioned in an earlier post, the bid field is already populated with '1' when I start bidding, and on subsequent bids, the box was preloaded with my previous bid quantity.....don't know how you get a 99, except from the ice-cream van!

The assumption being made is that a greedy individual wanted a slice of all the loans. For all we know, it was someone that put all their funds into one loan then logged off. I have no idea but just a thought.

But I'm sure many of us could have grabbed extremely large loan parts, but on a new platform with small loans it's not really done is it?

Well they must have been super quick then. I obviously need to speed up my keyboard - or is it my fingers!!! How did you find out about the bid amount. Whenever I went it to put my fifty quid in all I saw was what was available. Nothing there about historic bidding on the item.

Ignore my previous post as I've just found the tab. Need specsavers as well as a turbo keyboard

Thanks il moro for the summary. I will therefore follow your number system (with some additions), so that others can do so also. 1. Will look into this from a technical prospective. 2. Good idea and one that we will look into. 3. A system change is being uploaded tonight to allow for us in the office to upload the loans onto the platform and then we can select a batch of loans and click 'publish' so that they get uploaded at the same time. This should be ready for loans tomorrow. 4. We would rather keep this to add a layer of security. However, we could incorporate a 2nd password ‘Trading Password’ which would be by default the same as your primary password, but you can choose to change it to something simpler without compromising the strength of the primary? (For desktop/laptop users - you could copy your password to clipboard and paste in the field to make things easier (Ctrl+V)) Other comments: a. More Loans & More Partners. Yes & Yes! b. I am also just working on a way/process of batching similar asset types to be able to aggregate them into a single larger loan. I am popping over to see our Partner tomorrow to discuss this. c. Bid Field: We will change this to be blank rather than ‘1’. Regards, Ed

There's a "Recent Investments" tab on each individual loan page Sorry just seen your cross post

Ed Re your responses.
Limit to bid size for an initial period.
I assume that this will take some coding/testing etc and will never be as quick as us poor customers want.
In the interim. Could there be a flash message across the Loan Screen and the Invest Screen saying something like. "Please do not bid for more than 5% of the loan value for at least the first hour"
No teeth but it would remind us to be considerate.
