Afternoon,
We are currently experiencing increased occurrences of both of the scenario's below. Please can I remind depositors to instigate a transfer from within your MoneyThing account AND instigate the transfer via your online/offline banking. (These two tasks can be done in different orders but we do need both to be able to reconcile).
a) Depositors transferring funds into our Client Account without also initiating the payment via their MoneyThing account.
b) Deposits instigating a transfer via their MoneyThing account without transferring the money from their bank. (MoneyThing does not have a facility to debit customers directly).

Have followed your process and have made a large deposit by faster payments at 18.26 no confirmation it has arrived in my account with MoneyThing, transferred funds earlier to FS within 5mins they confirmed my account was credited.
When will I get confirmation of MT.. as it is to invest in your managed fund which I like the look of.

Have followed your process and have made a large deposit by faster payments at 18.26 no confirmation it has arrived in my account with MoneyThing, transferred funds earlier to FS within 5mins they confirmed my account was credited.
When will I get confirmation of MT.. as it is to invest in your managed fund which I like the look of. Chill out dude, it's Friday night

Guilty as charged. Forgot about letting you know on the website and no doubt the phone call came when you couldn't find the deposit which was probably a few hours earlier. As it happened got busy at work and only managed to get a stake in SC107 but at least there's a bit there now for the next batches. Wont happen again guv. Promise. Mind you, the lady on the phone sounded very nice so it might be worth doing it again....

Thanks Ed for keeping an eye out for my funds, they have been credited to my account, now can you tell me how to invest in your managed fund the process is not very clear, do you invest on my behalf and withdraw funds as and when or is the investment in one tranche, please enlighten me and all others who like to take part in this opportunity.

Oops confirmed to soon the funds have now been de-credited from my account, have checked my bank account the funds have left and the payee details are correct something must have happened for you to confirm that my funds for the correct amount were credited to my account I haven't disclosed the amount transferred yet you confirmed the correct amount you must have received the funds!!

Thanks, manue.. Our apologies manue, I'm afraid that we accidentally clicked the 'confirm' button on your deposit in error (as the funds have not been credited yet). This would have triggered the email to you to confirm the deposit but we have had to reverse it. This means that you would not see the guidance on how to invest as the system thinks your account is unfunded at the moment. I will keep checking for the next half an hour and if not I will be online again in the morning to check around 7am so should be in by then. Once credited you should be able to see how to invest. I am afraid that we simply clicked the wrong confirm button within admin on the deposits list (as there were a number today). (We know what amount to expect since you have to enter the amount when you instigate it within the system.) I promise you that we have not received your deposit - it is in our interest to credit users accounts. It is strange however if you say that it is immediate when paying other accounts. Regards, Ed.

Yep duncandive you are right in the confusion I forgot that I did indeed have to fill in the box with the amount I would be transferring, so I stand corrected in my defence I read the procedure carried it out to the letter got confirmation by email from MT then another apologising it was a mistake at this time still no funds credited I will now have to back track the transaction to find out where its gone wrong..
