Wow;real development on the defaulted painting.Doubts expressed over its authenticity so pulled from Wednesday's auction. However, all capital and interest paid to investors. "Auction partners" appear to be taking it on the chin as they authenticated it in the first place.
Thank you Unbolted for ensuring an equitable outcome which can only enhance platform credibility.

That is very encouraging jonno. Things like art scare me , just how do you value them even if they are genuine. I would be much happier if it were in a small collection.

I have just noticed that the website now has loan descriptions alongside the loan identifier. That makes it easier to navigate around buying.

Has anyone withdrawn cash? I posted a withdrawal request but nothing much seemed to happen. maybe it is completely manual?

I think you're correct in your assertion that it's a manual process. To be fair their on-line help is very responsive, so if you've not received your payment chase it up on there.

Withdrawal worked fine and quite quickly. Maybe slightly more positive response by the system would be better, but no big deal once you have done it once and know what to expect.

I see that an addition has been made to the "Available Loans" list. A field has been added telling you if you already own some of it. Useful.

I am getting rather frustrated with Unbolted. Are any of you actually managing to get a piece of many loans? Yes there's usually some gold available but the higher interest loans are normally gone as soon as I get the email to inform me of their availability. A bit more notice would be welcome and maximum bids and pre-funding and...

Hi madpierre; Yes huxs is right in that the only way to make a go of it on here is to set up an Autolend facility. You can state whether or not you want it to buy portions of both types of loans or just the higher rate (or indeed just the lower). I don't know what size investments you're looking at, but if it helps, I've got an Autolend of £200.This doesn't mean that you get £200 in every loan, as it depends on the loan size but it will guarantee that you get a proportion.Sometimes you can then manually top it up if there is availability.Yesterday there was a small loan of around £1800 of which I got £33.Then again on much larger loans I get the full £200, and many inbetween. It works well as long as you don't mind investing "blind" which is why I've kept my scale quite small. Hope this helps.

Ah right, thank you, now I see I see why I'm not getting much. Beaten to it by an some sort of bot as usual
I don't really like the prospect of blind investing, even with the partial protection offered by the provision fund. But I can see this appears to be the only option with the current system

But I can see this appears to be the only option with the current system Well I signed up for autolend and promptly bought £9 worth of a watch I would probably never have known about. This is a great system for Unbolted to get their loans filled without fuss but (dare I say it) I don't think it's very "fair"
So how about an SM so I can offload what I don't want

Damn! If you hadn't signed up I might have got an extra 8p of that loan And don't get me going on "fair"

Oh, OK we'll go halves. I owe you 4p - if the watch doesn't default that is. If it does you owe me
Now I'm off to see what's wrong with eMoney; there's always something...
